Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles Episode 3 featuring Wonder Woman Debuts

We've seen what Batman will look like in Justice League: Gods and Monsters through the first Chronicles episode, and we also saw Superman, who is the son of Zod. But what about Wonder Woman? Well, the third episode of Chronicles is here from Machinima.

Set in an alternate universe where Wonder Woman is actually the New God Bekka, the warrior goddess must take on a horde of Kobra soldiers to save her friend with benefits, Steve Trevor.

Justice League: Gods and Monsters hits retailers on July 28.

This looks fun. So far I like Superman and Wonder Woman of this world. Batman of this world not so much. Hopefully we can see The Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Green Arrow, Firestorm and other DC Heroes of this world

It would be cool to see a fight between Diana and Bekka.

The design of the weapon pod looked like Owlman's multiversity bomb from Crisis of Two Earth

This one was actually fun unlike the other two.

I like how they recycled the same bomb from Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.

Loving it so far

Batman? Mostly horrifying

Superman? Damned depressing

Wonder Woman? Meh?

I mean it wasn't BAD but...

they truly saved the best for last

I wonder how much they'll touch on between this love triangle , orion and trevor

While I think Wonder Woman being Bekka in this setting is the one that makes the least sense of the three (Bekka really has no connection to Diana and they've never even met). I quite like idea of Giganta being a colossal robot rather than a 50 ft woman, simply because it would provide Diana with an enemy she could really tear into without actually killing someone and still see the big lummox return again and again. Like making her Diana's equal to Thor's Destroyer, Superman's Toyman or Ultron.

Thought it was going to be the same thing.

Didn't think much of the Giganta design and color but another solid episode.

I really enjoyed it.

Okay of all three this was my least favorite as well. Kind of silly and Bekka seems unlikable, I mean they have Superman kill a child ( Well kind of) and he still comes across more likable.

Did anyone else think Giganta looked a bid like Jocasta? Anyway, this was a fun episode. I like this Wonder Woman.

Still dont like that they used the old Justice League Unlimited art style for this series.

Each of the episodes were amazing. I liked seeing Bekka she's an unknown and it's great that she was put into the spot light. Hopefully in Season 2 there will be more episodes to feature different spins on many classic characters. I would love to see versions of flash, cyborg, green lantern, aquaman and martain manhunter. Hopefully versions of the teen titans, doom patrol and suicide squad will be shown. Maybe a Legion of Doom? Will batman get a vampire side-kick?

So....this is basically Bruce Timm saying he wished Wonder Woman was created by Jack Kirby. Even the Cobra goons look more like Hydra soldiers.

So the only way this WW is similar to Diana is that she f**ks Steve trevor...

1) batman (awesome. dk why everyone says it sucked)

2) superman (ok. Didn't think his actions were drastically different than what kal would do)

3) "Wonder Woman" (had high hopes and was let down. Plus cheesy dialogue)

This was reall fun still spoke true to the character of Wonder Woman and emphaising somethings a bit more. Man The Batman short was just uttery mishandled existing only for shock value and explaining nothing really about the character. Where as these past two actually inform the character.

The ending was kind of awkward but hey its an alternate universe so its cool, a wonder woman who makes "love" or has a greek orgy after a battle.

I can't possibly be the only one who likes the robot Giganta better than the mainstream one, can I?

So Wonder Woman is from New Genesis in this one? Well these shorts have certainly been different. I'm not sure I'm getting a ton out of them though. They seem more like clips than shorts. I am interested to see the actual finished product though, something longer than 6 minutes would be nice.

Also glad to see they're not all as depressing and horrific as Superman and Batman were.

Giganta or Jocasta? YOU DECIDE!

This one was my least favorite of the three but still hella entertaining.

So um...where is the surpise? Batman drinks his opponenets, Superman does what needs to be done, although it it very depressing, and WW....WW has sex after she and Steve kill a whole bunch of Cobra soldiers and destroys Giganta. I was hoping for a bit more, drama, per say.

Decent enough, like the previous too. Nothing spectacular, though. I worry about the depiction of women in comic book movies. But I guess it could've been worse.
