Geez, people didn't know that? It's common knowledge for several months. Cyborg series got cancelled. They're trying to make him into an A lister. Being leader doesn't mean anything. It's like being a WWE champion or something. It's more about the purpose behind it. They're trying desperately to make Cyborg into an A-lister. It's like Marvel trying to make Captain Marvel into a A-lister despite dismal sales. Cyborg's book sales dipped below 10k. They should try other Black characters because no one cares about Cyborg. They should invest in Vixen or something. She's Black AND female. They could hit 2 diversity target with one arrow.

I believe Scott Snyder said in an interview he has plans for J'onn and he will be on Superman's team in the four-part No Justice story Snyder is writing, so it seems like there's a good chance.

This arc was the first time in a long time that JL has ever had a real leader. They never needed one they're all equals who may choose a leader in a specific circumstance.
I'm glad it feels like they're actually doing something with Victor on the league but with the cancellation of his solo I doubt it will save his spot on the team.

Nay! A most definite Nay. Cyborg does not belong in the Justice League, not now, never has. He should never have been taken off the Titans roster, which is where he belongs.

Brian Bendis (love him or hate him , write a lot of memorable books and his books tend to sell very well) could be a good writer for Cyborg, as he focuses on character development, but he's too big for Cyborg. I can't imagine who would be a good fit to write Cyborg out of the DC writers they have.
I don't get the Cyborg hate really. Works well with the League imo, he is just a secondary character. His powers make him useful for stories and league communication and stuff. There are characters who aren't solo material. He has been a founding member of this JL, he can't go to the Titans now, that's a huge downgrade and a move that doesn't make any sense.
@poeticwarrior: My thoughts exactly when I heard bendis was coming over to DC, but even then I knew he probably wouldn't do it unless he specially saw something he liked in the character.
