Just by who's willing to make a better movie, who is better? MCU VS DCEU

They are both very passionate filmmakers who love comicbooks.

It's Zack Snyder.

Zack WANTS to make a movie that's philosophical and the type of movie that changes the perception of CBM's but he has a very bad misconception of what is required for such a movie.

Feige while isn't always aiming for masterpieces and is more focused on making a coherent and uniform universe for which he knows trying something very revolutionary could end up being disastrous. If Feige didn't have to worry about the franchise failing then it's possible he'd be taking more risks.

And for once this is a nice question. I have to be honest I am not a fan of your threads but this thread is nice.

Zack Snyder . Kevin Feige is far more competent, but Snyder is far more ambitious and always cares about doing something new.

Snyder doesn't like DC Comics at all lol

DCEU used to take more risks when it comes to making movies. Not always successful but at least they tried to go for something different. At first anyway. Their more recent movies, not including movies like Joker who are not canon to the DCEU, feel more like the MCU ones.

The MCU on the other hand, goes for something a bit safer and with less risks. Not always to my liking but it has worked for them just fine so far.

Man of Steel certainly didn't feel like a Superman love letter... even though I did like the film.
