Joker solo movie casts it's Batman and Alfred.

Douglas Hodge has been cast as Alfred Pennyworth and Dante Pereira-Olson will play a young Bruce Wayne.

I think this is odd because Joaquin Phoenix already looks pretty old. By the time this kid is old enough to become Batman Joker will be in his 70s. Plus if he becomes the Joker now it'd simply mean he was around for 20 years in Gotham before Batman came up which makes no sense at all since Batman is the main motivation that drives Joker. If you are making a Joker solo movie with Joker ad the main focus then remove Batman and reinvent him. Having him alongside Bruce Wayne but his motivations still being completely vague would mean you're basically destroying the classic story.

IT'S ALSO POSSIBLE HE MIGHT APPEAR IN FLASHBACKS.

Maybe this means Thomas Wayne will die by the end of the movie.

Plot has more or less been leaked on Reddit.

Thomas Wayne is a major character in the movie. Bruce has no story arc. This joker is younger than Thomas Wayne but bit older than Bruce.

Also now the DC universe has these Batmen. These have been mentioned or have been referred to before. They might not have actually appeared but its clear they exist -

DCEU version

CW version (Multiple Easter eggs)

Gotham (He's gonna appear in the coming season apparantly)

This movie (Obviously if Bruce Wayne exists it means Batman eventually will exist too)

Titans (Definitely exists in Titan universe, has been mentioned)

@deltahuman: How is that even possible? He's slightly younger than Thomas OK. But that means this took place before Thomas died. If what you're insinuating is true and he is infact a bit older than the kid we see above it'd mean the new Joker is 15 years old.

Weird. I know its an elseworld but its clear this joker is going to be alot older than Bruce.

1. Elseworld so doesn't matter if Bruce isn't even born or is father of Thomas wayne.

2. It's joker movie not batman movie.

Nah, new Joker is newly married. Thomas is a wealthy businessman, father of Bruce. So Thomas might be in his early forties and Joker in his late 20s or early 30s

tbh would've preferred if they used the gotham cast, like david mazouz and sean pertwee. they make more sense (especially mazouz, as he's 17 and won't be drastically younger than the joker in-universe)

But if it's executed well I won't have an issue. It might end up being great
