John Krasinski as Green Lantern?

I was watching a recent interview with actor John Krasinski (The Office) and he said he once tried out for the part of Captain America, and obviously, didn't get it. But, now that he has gotten into amazing shape, I think he should try out for more superhero roles, namely Hal Jordan for the DCEU. I think his comedic background would be perfect for the role and he could add some levity to the DCEU and Justice League.
