This thread will be divided into the following sections:

  • Lantern Ring
  • Ring Shroud
  • Power Ring/Constructs
  • Durability
  • Strength
  • Speed

Lantern Ring

(Green Lanterns Issue #24) According to Volthoom, Jessica's Power Ring is one of the original seven Green Lantern rings built by the Guardians and the accompanying Ring to his Travel Lantern from millions of years ago, which would allow him to travel great distances and even across time:

Ring Shroud

There's probably a Canon term for this but since I'm unaware of it at the moment of making this thread, I'm just going to call it a Ring Shroud, which is basically the thin layer of energy that surrounds a Green Lantern.

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #01) Jessica's Ring Shroud allows her to tank being shot in the face with a shotgun with no injury. All that happened was she was knocked back from the blast:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #02) In her casual day clothes (well pajamas in this instance), Jessica's Shroud allows her to tank a multi-hundred foot fall with no injuries:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #10) When Jessica and Simon arrive at a building on fire, her Ring alerts her and tells her that the interior temperature is over 1000 degrees F. Despite this, she was able to navigate her way through the building just fine:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Aquaman Rebirth Issue #) Jessica's Ring Shroud allows her to breath underwater whereas Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash had to use breathing apparatus:

Power Ring/Constructs

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #07) Jessica creates a cookie mixer, as well as long arms that help her bake ma'amoul with Simon:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #08) Jessica can presumably make a cage with her Ring. I say presumably because it doesn't show either her or Simon making the cage:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #13) Jessica is able to defeat an Orange Lantern construct of herself and her fear by making a sort of spear/drill construct and stabbing it through the head:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #15) Jessica creates a bear with her Ring to help her spar and work out her anxiety:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #01) This feat is actually a little confusing. Here we see Simon and Jessica creating these constructs to help hold up and stabilize buildings in Beijing after it was hit with a series of powerful earthquakes. Now I want to say that Jessica helped create a lot of these constructs, but I'm not sure if this took place after she gained confidence in herself and was able to create constructs, as later in the next issue, she tells Simon that she can't help him evacuate civilians because she can't make a construct. So either she was able to help Simon create some of these constructs, or Simon did it all by himself, take what you will from it:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #02) I'm even more confused about this feat. Jessica already admitted to not being confident in her ability to create a construct, which is why Simon had to create huge ship carriers to save civilians and told her to stop the flooding waters that were about to sink Hong Kong. She told him that her task seemed incredibly hard because it was the whole coast, but she eventually manages to shape her Ring blast into a sort of shovel to push the water back, then we see a huge damn constructed, closing off the water from hitting the city. In the next few pages, though, we see that Simon is focusing his energy on keeping the ships up, meaning Jessica had to have created that damn all by herself. It's not that I don't think she could accomplish this feat, it just seems like a high-end feat considering this could be before she was able to effectively create constructs or it could be that it's an outlier:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #20) Jessica uses her ring to triangulate for unusual magnetic field patterns in order to find Doctor Polaris:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #21) Jessica and Simon are able to stop the Watchtower from crashing into earth by catching it and then creating a propulsion system to push it back into orbit:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6Gallery image 7

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #23) Jessica appears to take apart a car or some other vehicle and seems like she has to put it back together. Since she passed her training with Guy, I'm assuming she figured it out:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #23) Jessica creates a construct of a sniper rifle:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #24) While in a training spar with Guy Gardner using bats as weapons, Jessica becomes overwhelmed until she creates a large ax and overpowers Guy, prompting him to graduate her from basic training:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #25) Jessica creates a shield to block an attack from Volthoom:

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #27) Jessica creates a huge construct of her sister's cat in order to scare off a horde of prehistoric birds trying to eat Simon:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #35) Jessica creates a turtle construct to block Bolphunga's sword strike:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #35) She then creates what appears to be an egg and drops it on him with enough force to crack the ground beneath him:

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #35) Jessica creates a shotgun construct:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #35) Jessica creates a clamp around Bolphunga:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League vs. Suicide Squad Issue #04) Jessica creates a large hammer construct to break Emerald Empress's attack on Superman and then matches the Emerald Eye with a ring blast. For reference, the Emerald Eye just blasted Simon through at least three walls in Belle Reve:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

Energy Blasts

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #03) Jessica blasts and hurts Bleez with her Ring:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #05) Jessica, with the help of Simon, is able to hold off and fight back against Red Lanterns that outnumbered them 3 to 1. She only gets overwhelmed when Simon leaves her to fight Atrocitus:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6Gallery image 7

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #02) Jessica uses her Ring to repulse a group civilians that were dogpiling her:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #05) She does the same thing when confronted by a large group of Red Lanterns:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #02) Jessica blasts Simon's hummer hard enough to send it flying off course and cause him to go flying out of it:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #04) Jessica is able to basically decimate hundreds of large ships that were trying to make their way to Earth to drop off the

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #07) Jessica is able to blast away the fear cloud that was affected the entire League and all of the nearby citizens when the fear cloud/monster was as large as skyscrapers:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3

Here's how large it was:

Shields

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #01) Jessica, before she became proficient at creating constructs, was able to make a shield that protected her, Simon, and about a dozen other civilians from this explosion:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #10) Jessica creates a shield around herself and a child to protect the child from the flames burning her house. Her Ring told her that the internal temperature of the house on fire was over a thousand degrees when she first arrived, meaning her shield could protect her and people inside from temperatures over 1000 degrees:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #11) Jessica creates a shield around a father, his son, and their dog and lifts them in the air to escape The Phantom Lantern's energy output's:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #19/20) Jessica, with the help of Simon, was able to create a shield around the two of them that saved them from being crushed by Doctor Polaris using his magnetic powers to curl a large truck and a few cars around them:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #20) Jessica creates a shield that protects her from either the heat from or a part of an explosion caused by Doctor Polaris, although the she would be overpowered when he threw a bunch of machinery piled together at her and Simon:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #27) Jessica creates a shield for her and Simon that withstands the heat of being 230.4 meters from the core of planet earth:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #11) Jessica is able to help Simon and a newly programmed Amazo create an energy shield around what appeared to be molten magma that sprouted from the earth around a neighborhood:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Justice League vs Suicide Squad Issue #02) Jessica creates a small shield in front of herself to protect against El Diablo's fire hydra and then creates a small shield around him to suffocate the air of oxygen, leaving him with no flames and eventually knocking him out:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Justice League vs Suicide Squad Issue #05) Jessica and Simon are able to put up an energy shield around earth:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #14) Jessica was able to create a shield that protected the members of the League from a gravity blast that was powerful enough to send them twelve miles below Canada, and then she also creates a space for the League to move around and breath underneath all that rubble as well:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6Gallery image 7

Fire Flower

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #06) Jessica's first construct was a flower (I'm actually only assuming it was a flower-type construct) that resembled a flame. She used this to destroy the Hell Tower, which forced the Red Lanterns to leave Earth:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #04) Here's how big the Hell Tower was:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #08) Jessica uses her Fire Flower construct to trap the movements of two Dominators who were trying to steal the Phantom Ring:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Issue #23/#24) Jessica, fed up with Guy's method of training her, creates her Fire Flower around her hand as a sort of boxing glove and socks him. Guy would later tell Hal that she packed quite a punch:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

Elastic Restraints

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #14) After putting on the Phantom Ring and realizing that she was actually at odds and ends with herself, not her own Ring, her ability to create constructs blossomed. She easily creates a sort of elastic webbing to tie up Frank Laminski to a statue and even impresses Simon:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #25) In what looks like the same elastic constructs as above, Jessica is able to catch a submarine that was falling towards the city and hold it in place long enough for Superman and Wonder Woman to come and relieve her of the job. She even earns praise from the two for performing said feat:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3

Durability

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #03) Jessica is thrown into a building by Bleez, is knocked out of the fight for a few panels (enough time for Simon to "heal" Bleez and have a conversation with her), and returns to the fight just fine:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #06) Jessica is perfectly fine after being by rubble from the destruction of the Hell Tower:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #13) Jessica isn't harmed after being blasted back by the Phantom Ring:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #19) Jessica is fine after being slammed in the back by a large truck while fighting Doctor Polaris:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Issue #20) Jessica tanks having a bunch of machinery all piled together hitting her:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #23) Jessica is hit by a speeding truck construct that Guy Gardner made during their training session:

No Caption Provided

Strength

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #03) Jessica throws a copier at Bleez:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #10) Jessica kicks down a wooden door:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #23) During her training session with Guy Gardner, Jessica was forced to carry a heavy something up a mountain under a certain time limit or else she would have had to start over from the beginning, which suggests that she did indeed carry it all the way from the bottom of the mountain:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #35) Jessica knocks back Bolphunga through a wall:

No Caption Provided

Speed

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #05) Jessica is able to hold her own against a group of Red Lanterns fairly well despite her and Simon being outnumbered about 3 to 1:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5Gallery image 6Gallery image 7

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #11) Jessica creates a shield around a father, his son, and their dog and flies away with them before an explosion could hit them:

No Caption Provided

(Green Lanterns Rebirth Issue #15) Jessica creates a shield in front of her in time to protect against a shooter:

No Caption Provided

(Justice League Rebirth Issue #05) Jessica dodges an energy blast from one of the Kindred:

@soa: @passingthroughv2: I love Jessica's character too. Personally to me, she just seems so much more relatable and really feels like just a normal person who's been thrust into the hero business without any sort of motivation to become one.

@thevivas: With little motivation talk from Barry (lol) she blasted some kind of fear entity that was able to infect entire Justice League with their deepest fears. Justice League 07.

Jessica Cruz character feels a lot more natural than Simon Baz, they keep on pushing those two together on the same title when they really shouldn't. Jessica is good enough to stand on her own. She's very interesting reminds me of kyle to be honest.
