Uses character arc for the Sniper Charlie. He was interesting, and has mystery to him. The only character whose name I remember outside Diana actually. We never understood what torments him. Why he is unable to make the shot. This is ruin in the end as we never seen him kill anyone on screen, and never a reason to have him there other than be the look out guy. Waste.
Slow Motion, like OMG.... the use and abuse of Slow Motion for so many scenes was overdone. I saw more slo mo shots in this film than the whole Matrix Trilogy :/ little annoying.
The bullshit exposition that was a lie. Movie spent time telling a flat out lie of a story to set the whole damn movie up from the get go. I, and many other people who pass 6th grade, saw the twist of Diana being said "god weapon" from a mile away. Waste of time and lying on lore to confuse others. Annoying.
The villains. Dr Poison could easily been replace by any no name scientist really. She did nothing other than be the face to make the super mustard gas. Same for the general dude who was a useless punching bag. He was not even a threat to Diana :/. Why was he there? For the twist villain? Whatever.
The priority of the Mustard Gas over the super human gas. Like What The Freak!? They rather focuses on Mustard Gas when they were making Captain America super soldier gas capsules the whole damn time? That alone would won the war! So damn stupid. You could argue Ares rather have the mustard gas be the focus, if that is the case she should NEVER introduce the super soldier gas hery derp :/
This movie was very grounded, but then introduces the Ultron/Doomsday/Zod/Destroyer Armor badguy with over the top destruction and action. That final video game stage boss shit. Her fighting German soldiers while her lover gets on the plane was more than enough and subtle enough. But no... we have to have a insane final fight boss fight where the boss is beaten by no less than the power of love and deus machina powers we never saw pulled on Doomsday in BvS. Shit.
My biggest gripe of the whole film was the bullshit moral of the story twist. In this film when WW kills the general guy, thinking he was Ares, that should have been it. The main dude (cant remember his name either lol) told her that maybe the reason Germans are not stopping there bullshit is because men have evil in their hearts. Flaws. The whole premise was Ares was making men do evil things. Humanity had evil because of him. We all know this is like 5 year old logic, but Diana knew know better. This was PERFECT as it was. Diana grows as a character, and makes the choice to help man for hope sake. But what happens? It was Ares all along. Wonder Woman kills him and all the German soldiers hug it out in the end to just to show they are free of Ares bullshit. Wow. What a waste of a good and classic philosophical message and character growth. Instead we get the whole, this man is evil and makes others do evil things angle like a kid Disney flick :/ Bad form, bad form.
Was it a good film? It was enjoyable, I did not hate it. Is it one of the best films ever? Hells to the no. This film is as good as Captain America First Avenger or Ant Man level. X-Men First Class level. Far from Dark Knight, Logan, Deadpool, or Spider Man 2 levels.

Look at them polls. If so many loved WW as the clear superior film, its not showing. I had no opinion till after this poll was made. I saw IT 3 days ago, and to me it was super good. The only issues to me was some of the effects being a 30 million dollar budget movie. Outside the affects, real faithful to the books on its run time. Really good character development, villain, lore, and balances comedy, suspense, and horror.
So the question remains, out of these top 5 highest domestic grossing movies in one weekend, who wins.
Well, i am not really fan of horror films, but i finally watched the IT, and it blew all the expectations i had about the film, didn't expect a horror movie especially a remake one to be this good, so my vote goes to IT, though Wonder Woman was not a bad film, but it was not that good compared to other good superhero genre.
Never watched the original It, watched the new one and hoenstly thought it was boring. I spent a lot of the time fidgeting due to boredom. Personally I thought Wonder Woman was a pretty good film with a poor portrayal of Ares.

Wonder woman by a landslide imo. There were several I times when I bust out laughing at pennywise when everyone else was jumping. The parts of IT where pennywise wasn't having seizure spasms were pretty good though.
I have no interest in watching IT. I saw the first movie and thought it pretty much covered the story enough that this new one is just another take on something that wasn't really interesting.
