It chapter 2 review

Ok, so this is another film I got to see early. Unfortunately, last time I saw a movie early, I got so much hate from you guys. It was Avengers Endgame. So this time I decided to show you proof. And hopefully to clear my name. So here's part of the movie as proof.

So yeah, now for the review:

I think the first one is scarier, and no jumpscare managed to beat the projector scene from the first movie.

However, I think that this movie is much more entertaining, with a perfect cast.

I think it's more gruesome than in the first movie.

I think It chapter 2 is a worthy sequel.

Only question I really have is: did they get into much of the metaphysical side of things with It being trapped, the turtle, etc?

Yes, it was featured a lot in the film. So do you believe me?

One of my disappointments with this film is that they cut this scene.

Did the movie end on a happy note, and wrapped up the whole thing?

@lan_fan: Yes, it did. I saw no sign for a third film.

@the_agent_of_chaos: That's not even a spoiler man, I said nothing about the plot. Besides, it happened in the mini series and the book.

@the_agent_of_chaos: Tons of blood it's a hardcore R rating man.

It was really good. But it did drag alot. You feel those 3 hours

I agree, but fun 3 hours.

@g2_: Yes, me and my girlfriend did the double bill and watched them back to back.

It was really good, enough to want to watch it again. For me there were more scares this round, as pennywise terrorised more of the town residents than just the main group. Also they definitely go more in to the roots of the film, with dead lights etc.

I read another review before going in which implied it was just a revenge film, but this is not the case imo

Eddie and Richie were stand out characters, young and old, and you've got to like that cameo.

Did it have a break?

Thought the movie was good but I hated the design of IT during the last fight. They should have stuck more to the book ending.

It was pretty good, I just wish it was a bit more scary, nothing in this movie beats the projector scene from the first one.

Also, the way they defeated "It" was very anti-climactic, I don't know if it was done the same way in the books but in the movie felt really bad.

Other than those two things, this movie was pretty good.

I liked the movie but it was very different from the book.

The Ritual of Chud in the movie only shares the name... that's it.

Not that I mind, a great movie but I woulda loved to see Maturin.

@the_stegman: The director in an interview actually said that he had to cut over an hour worth of content.

He said he plans to make a Supercut that would include both movies, an hour+ unreleased content+ he is gonna shoot even more yet.

And he was confident hat he was gonna get the Super cut to be released. So, that would be like 7 hours.

@g2_: Why even ask if there was a break, in a back to back screening dude? Don't you work at a theater?
