Your thoughts...
Is Wonder Woman the best DCEU movie so far?
MOS is better
Nope its MOS
Followed by WW a bit further away, and then bit further to JL, and a giant chasm engulfs the quality drop from there to BvS and SS.
But yes, MoS was easily the best here, and quite enjoyable, despite it's flaws.
Man of Steel is better. The 3rd act of Wonder Woman stopped it from being a top tier CBM, nearly perfect if it wasn't for the end.
MoS is almost amazing, if only some stupid scenes were removed (Kent's death, and his whole philosiphy in general.)
MOS is better
@lord_spectrum: seconded.
@thespartanb345t: Lol yeah Kent's death was really stupid, philosophy or no philosophy I'd save my f*n dad who was willing to risk his life for a dog
Well critcally Wonder Woman is the best DCEU movie and among the best CBMs ever but personally I like Man of Steel more. MoS was God level.
1. Wonder Woman.
2. Man or Steel
3. Justice League
4. Batman v Superman
5. Suicide Squad
Wonder Woman is by far the best DCEU movie, Man of Steel is second but Superman sucked hard in that film so it's not close.
The other movies are just absolute embarrassments for WB.
Of course it is, my god is MoS overrated here.
Zod was a great villain man
Wonder Woman and Justice League, MOS sucked in my opinion.
This. I know there are a lot of MOS fans on this site and that's fine, but I didn't like it at all. I really liked Wonder Woman and Justice League was good enough.

Exactly.
I liked MoS way more, yeah bite me.
Zod alone puts that movie on higher caliber than WW.

this Tbh i never understood how somebody doesn't like MoS. I've never heard a proper reason, all people say is he's too moody
Of course not. WW was really bad IMO. For me it's:
1. MoS
2. BvS
3. JL
4 .WW/SS
pretty much this

-Character development was almost non-existent in the movie.
-No tension
I can't think of anything i like other than the action scene/destruction. The acting was good
Easily. MoS is bad, BvS is mediocre, Suicide Squad is one of my least favourite movies ever, and JL was so disappointing.
Wonder Woman was good. Very good.
- Man of Steel 7.9/10
- Wonder Women 7.5/10
- Batman vs Superman(Ultimate Cut) 7.5/10
- Suicide Squad 7.0/10
- Justice League 6.5/10
-Character development was almost non-existent in the movie.
you mean like how in the beginning where he's scared of who he is and can't accept his powers tumbling from one corner of the Earth to the other living different lives - leading to the middle where he accepts his alien heritage dons his cape and explores his powers that he's been rejected and shamed for having his entire life - leading to the near end where he accepts his role as Earth's protector with the help and motivation of Jor-El and finds the balance between both his alien and human side by understand who he is and what he should stand for - leading to the final end where he accepts his life as both a hero and a human, picks a career where he can juggle both firmly and has a woman? To say there was no character development is to say that the Clark we meet in the beginning is the exact same dude we see in the end, however this isn't true because the emotional and physical changes we see and feel from the character from start to end; are dramatically different.
and this doesn't even cover the development in how he feels about the outside world and how the outside world feels about him. Like, did we even see the same movie lol
-No tension

Thats very nice and all but none of it is actually executed well.
-No tension
I don't know what you mean by this
the obstacles are mere obstacles that never feel threatening. This is a problem in most action movies. In your defense you could say "the destruction affected people's lives, buildings destroyed etc" but none of those things matter if theres no weight. You can have countless characters die but they won't matter unless the movie makes you care. Its about execution.
Man of Steel for me by far love that film
Wonder Woman follows behind greatly enjoyed it but a weaker villain and less interesting main protagonist put it below MoS imo (i also find the cinematography, imagery and symbolism in MoS to be extremely well handeled whereas in WW nothing necessarily jumped out at me)
Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition imo was a solid but flawed film and my problem with their interpretation of Lex and the Martha scene put it at the third spot
Justice League was enjoyable but overall dissapointing and easily the weakest of the Snyder Superman/DCU trilogy
Suicide Squad was trash and I try to pretend it doesn’t even exist
