Is this the DC TV Trinity?
It pretty much is, Green Arrow is Batman in similar ways( A lot of ways *cough* league and taking other Batman Villians), Flash is Superman and Supergirl is like a mix though she mor like genderbender Superman and is actually connected with Superman
pretty much yeah but as it's been said before GA is a poor man's batman, the flash is just there because wonder woman ain't and supergirl can't throw a punch
but regardless they are
In terms of solo characters that's most likely the case. In terms of shows? Teen Titans Go! and Justice League Action aren't in there, so no.
Yep!
Oliver = Bruce
Barry = Clark
Kara = Diana
This.
They are the Trinity and I honestly think the main 3 have good chemistry. It's when you factor in the 30+ support cast characters and Legends of Tomorrow that cross over events become a bit harder.

Whoa!
Masked vigilante, master of prep time, no real superpowers, obsessed with "saving his city", almost always fights street level baddies, is affiliated with the League of Assassins, constantly tries to prove his worth amongst the uber power metahumans, etc.
Nah, he's nothing like Bruce.
I also don't see how the League of Assassins, Anti-Hero Merlyn would in anyway be The Joker.
Malcom Merlyn!
If Green Arrow is Batman, who is his Joker? Count Vertigo or Deathstroke?
@mutant1230: Minus two things you described just about every street level hero ever. Of which Batman isn't even the first.
And Merlyn is closer to Anti-Villain than Anti-Hero. And I said that because he's Olivers' antithesis. His most dangerous enemy. The one who is always there. His arch-enemy and occasional, reluctant ally.
Much the way Joker is to Batman or Lex to Superman.
Don't Forget that Arrow is also Married with the Daughter of Ras Al-Ghul XD
I've many friends, Batman fans, that usually call Arrow "Bat-row" :)

Plus, he's part of a DC Trinity. All of those traits in comparison to the other heroes on the CW definitely point to Oliver Queen being a Batman allegory. Are you seriously going to try & deny this?
And I don't know what show you've been watching. But Malcolm Merlyn hasn't been an honest to god antagonist or antithesis as you claim since season 1. Other than the fact he shoots arrows too, he's helped him stop Slade, Ra's al Ghul, and even Damien Darhk. In addition to all the support and help he has given to Thea. Three out of the four seasons he's been in he's been a reluctant ally to Team Arrow. That right there is a textbook definition example of an Anti-Hero. Someone who does good, but for less moral reasons. How is a character Oliver has worked with more times than he has fought his "Archenemy"?
The Joker almost never allies with Batman, never helps anyone, has no positive or redeeming qualities, and has done so many messed up things as an attempt to push him over the edge. Name just one thing Malcolm has done to Team Arrow that was like that?
I don't know how anyone who understands these two characters could possibly think they are alike in anyway.
@mutant1230: I say they have their similarities. But like the other.members of the Trinity, I think Bruce and Oliver are pretty distinct.
And how many times has Malcolm helped Oliver because he either had no choice or because it helped him? Kidnapping his son, leaving Starling with Thea, condemning the World to Nuclear holocaust and allying with Damian to save himself, joining The Legion of Doom, etc.
He's not The Joker.
The Joker is Batman's arch enemy.
Merlyn is Oliver's arch.
That's why I mentioned Lex, as closer analogue.
Malcolm looks out for himself and Thea and aids Oliver only when it furthers his own goals.
I'd say Deathstroke is Ollie's Joker. HE KILLED HIS MOM!
I'd say Deathstroke is more Ollie's Bane than Joke, tactical brute with a drug problem.
More like a lesser version of the true Trinity.
Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy?
@the_kidd: Yeah, but he's the one villain that hit Ollie the hardest, and Ollie is partially responsible for making him, like Batman and Joker.
@the_stegman: Fair points but Deathstroke/Bane had similar motivation of breaking their heroes.
