Yes. Link to pics are broken but i don't think 2 km was the fireball radius. Tho it might have grown to that. But it also wasn't exactly a fireball, it was a ball of red/orage lightning that didn't cover the entire volume. Also for the radius they used, Nukemap actually gives 3.3 mt not 13

As for the cone made by facevision, it is nowhere near 2.3 km wide.

HV beam's width is not even close to the 3 km island and the entire island wasn't visible here.

But watching the scene again it is a much better feat that i thought before.

Shockwave seems about mid-high kiloton range. But the lightning ball can be very low megaton range (i wouldnt say 3.3) if its comparable to a nuke's fireball. While the lightning doesnt fill the entire volume it does some intense damage to areas directly touched so idk how itd compare to a nuke.

DD's booshes like Synder called it doesn't work like a conventional explosion or a nuke so the use of nukemap to scale is very wrong.

Unless DD can amplify every energy he's hit with by a 100fold then it's not a megaton of TNT feat.

He was struck with a 300kt nuke and we see clearly that he doesn't absorb all the energy its struck with just the portion that hits him directly.

Characters amplifying energy they absorb isn't really that uncommon tbf. Superman himself is powered by a low power source like sunlight on Earth's surface which is <1400 watt/m^2 but the things he does are well above what he can do with just that. But yeah it isnt exactly a nuke. At least the shockwave does damage near identical to what a nuke of 50-100 kt would do iirc. Fireball part is the far more questionable part.

How about 1.5 megatons total?

@nwname:

I agree that the shockwaves did comparable damage to a 50-100kt nuke but it didn't really work like a shockwave from an explosion. I also don't think that there was a fireball from his booshes.
