IS THIS COMBAT SPEED?

The Surfer moves his hand while traveling a lightyear in a second. That means he moved around 15 million times the speed of light (not sure if math is correct), is this combat speed because he moved his hand????

Can anyone answer?

But look at that curved streak, it looks like it's meant to tell that the surfer moves his hand at the end..

@tvenger: That was just to indicate the swipe at the gloves. This is travel speed. Same could have been done if you in a car an you put your hand out to try an steal something. He over shot an could not even turn back or even come to a sudden stop. No control of the speed he is travelling at.

Travel speed as he’s traveling on the board. If he was not moving and his hand moved that fast that be combat speed

He did still have the reflex speed sufficient to accurately swipe at Thanos, so it counts towards combat speed to a certain extent.

The ‛‛board” is allowing Silver Surfer to experience the Speed it was travelling at.

Human beings Can't react at the Speed of Sound, Human beings Can't move their hands at the Speed of Sound, Human beings Can't run at the Speed of Sound but Human beings Can fly a ‛‛Plane” that moves at the Speed of Sound.

- Someone flying a ‛‛Plane” at the Speed of Sound, can move his hand while inside the Plane but that doesn't mean the person can move his hand at the Speed of Sound while inside the Plane.

Silver Surfer himself isn't moving at High Speed, it's the ‛‛board” that's allowing him to move at High Speed, And him moving his hand on the board DOES NOT MEAN he moved his hand at the same Speed the board was travelling at.

Long Story Short, Silver Surfer's ‛‛feat” is not a Combat Speed but a Travel Speed.

Some Characters can react fast but are Slow in Combat Speed.

For example:

- Some Characters can react fast but Can't punch at the Speed of Sound

Hell, Thanos is not even as fast as moving vehicle, not to now talk about Speed of Sound or Speed of Light.

Characters like The Flash, superman, quicksilver, speed demon etc. Can actually Speedblitz the shit outta Thanos, they can land multiple punches on Thanos before Thanos could even Blink or React.

Someone like the Flash is Perfectly Capable to behead Thanos before Thanos could react. IF you give Flash Wonder Woman ‛‛sword”, he Can behead Thanos in ONE SECOND.

Also, Thanos didn't react to Silver Surfer before Silver Surfer missed Thanos.

It was after Silver Surfer missed Thanos and passed Thanos, that was when Thanos reacted to Silver Surfer, so it's not really as impressive as you think it is.

@tvenger: I think he has potential in reaction ( assuming he was moving at that speed ) but it seems he isn't perfect at it since he missed to hit THanos. Hard to estimate that curved trail in which moment has he used but at least he has accurately aiming. So that's feat for him. Nice

It looks like Surfer moved his hand in a curved motion relative to the distance he traveled. Considering the arc is longer than the distance he traveled in a straight line, cuz geometry, his combat speed would be higher than his travel speed based off that scan.

This is travel speed it's like shooting a bullet. Silver Surfer missed he couldn't even slow down to catch it or stop instantly.

This is like if you’re driving a car ftl, you stick your arm out at a street sign just before you get to it, could a human withdraw their hand before the reached the sign? No. You would move millions of meters in the time it takes your brain to even send the signal to move your hand.
