Is there anyone in live action that wouldn't lose to Shang Chi Soul Eaters?

ignoring abstracts like glove thanos, ego, dormamu and counters like phasing/soullessness - is there anyone else that could no sell or outright defend an attack from these things?

it seems like even superman level beings are susceptible to this.

maybe Wanda can reality warp.

@thorwins1875: Why you think that Superman-level beings can by overpowered or pierced by this creature's tentacles? Even if they soul eaters can't be killed by e.g. Thor or Hulk, they will slap such creature away before it manages to remove the soul IMO.

well i've seen people say that the soul/astral punch from dr strange and ancient one can work on superman level beings - so this soul manipulation/stealing here probably does as well

Anyone with sufficient soul hacking resistance. Any high tier from supernatural, Garuda from lost girl, Lena duchannes from beautiful creatures, David and farouk from legion, Pazuzu from the exorcist. That's just off the top of my head. Maybe sheev, voldemort and Dumbledore. The last ones are debatable.

Soul punch doesn't require anything like that and works instantly. Ancient One just needed to touch Hulk, not physically overpower him, etc.

@hmesko: which high tiers in supernatural? cause i know grace/souls are easily manipulated. solid list on rest especially lost girl one reference.

@nn5: the tentacles didn't pierce by friction forces like an arrow or bullet, they phased the bodies. so durability means nothing here. look at his mask and chest - there are no holes in the fabric.

they also no sold everything with hax regen and only died to dragon scale which is an obscure win condition.

i don't think your argument makes much sense.

Sorcerers from MCU should be able to. Also anyone who can just break out from its grip.

Still the soul eater physically restrains his arms and soul isn't removed instantly. Can't imagine Thor or Hulk not breaking out of that hold and escaping, even if they can't kill the creature.

@nn5: yeah i can see the position you're making. that they can just stalemate them indefinitely? but i also see a lot of people argue phasing as the be all end all in fights. we only saw them restrain death dealer who was about shang chi level in physicals. so maybe they would fail horribly against superman level beings who could simply stalemate them, or maybe not. my point was, would superman level beings be susceptible to their attack? which is stealing the soul, which i think is still unrefuted because that type of attack is very obscure in that not many live action characters have feats of that nature.
