Is there a conspiracy amongst MCU Marketing executives against DCEU movies?

Well, i don't have proof of it and i don't think any other people can find proof of that either. But just a speculation for you guys to think about.

Firstly. MCU movies have received largely positive reception by both critics and the general audience while DCEU doesn't have a single movie with positive reaction.

Secondly, back in early 2016 there was a huge collection of bots attacking Batman v Superman via twitter.

Thirdly, Suicide Squad 2016 was highly profitable - even more than Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 yet it gets so much worse reviews.

Finally we had the recent reveal by DC "insider" regarding Wonder Woman.

Regarding Wonder Woman's recent reveal, you think it is possible that MCU Marketing executives have planted a double agent within WB to destroy DCEU reputation? And that they hired hackers to create bots to spread negative news about Batman v Superman?

A general audience doesn't know what Marvel or DC is but what they come to see is a good movie( unless you are a comic book reader.). So if they find a couple of CBM bad they just get bored on the whole genre.So if either one (Marvel or DC) isn't doing good both of them don't.There is no point for Marvel to pay or buy critics as long as they make good movies.And if they buy some critic and it comes out their whole studios may be at risk .So nothing of such has happened and never will happen.

Which has to do with the films not being very good. Man of Steel deserves an average rating of a 6.2/10, BvS is deserving of a 4.9/10, and 4.7/10 is deserving for Suicide Squad. Marvel films are entertaining, well constructed films. Even the mediocre ones are well put together.

Good reviews =/= profit, bad reviews =/= loss of profit. The Transformers films are poorly received and still make an insane amount of money. Suicide Squad was well marketed, trailers made it look fun, it had a diverse cast, it has Will Smith and Cara Delivenge in it, and it's a DC film.

P.s Suicide Squad wasn't more profitable than GoTG. Suicide Squad grossed $745m on a $175m budget. GoTG grossed $773 on a $170m budget.

Marvel has mastered making movies that appeal to both comic book fans, and the general audience. DC needs to start making their films for a more general audience.

Oh, and just because a movie made lots of money doesn't mean the critics loved it. All the Transformes movies have been panned, and yet some of them are in the billion dollar club. Is there a conspiracy against the Transformers?

Besides, why would Marvel do this? DC's loss is not necessarily their gain. I mean, the average movie goer is not going to think to himself "Awe man, Batman v Superman has bad reviews. Better wait 2 months to watch Captain America Civil War instead, which I wouldn't have seen at all if I had gone to see Batman v Superman." Marvel has nothing to gain by DC losing.

Marvel is sitting on a pile of cash acting like the Rock from WWE. Marvel is saying "with the billions" and we say "billions" of dollars from peoples wallets. Why would they need to do this to DC. Most of the movies marvel is starting to come out with are b and c level heroes. They aren't very known. The DC movies are just bad plain and simple. They make money, because batman, superman, and the joker are in it. Who wouldn't go see a movie with those guys in it?

The DC movies suffer from being bad.

The marvel movies are above average featuring superheros doing superhero things.

• No theres no conspiracy, The DCEU just makes films that are widely considered to range between shit-Average..And when has Box Office ever been indicative of a films reception?...The two landmark franchises of Transformers and Pirates of The Caribbean broke all kind of Box Office records but got horrid reviews.

Why wouldn't they...? Simple, The Dark Knight trilogy's potential profitability is limited because its doesn't feature other superheroes. Christopher Nolan himself had stated so. On the other hand, DCEU had much higher potential profitability on par with Marvel. Why wouldn't Marvel want to sabotage it?

Don't see why it matters. If the DCEU was actually making good movies despite the poor reception in comparison to MCU movies people would've caught on. The power behind "word of mouth" goes both ways. Not to mention that the DCEU doing well doesn't really affect the MCU. People have and will continue to go see movies from both cinematic universes despite knowing that the DCEU have a bad reputation since:

a) We're in a comic book movie renaissance. Comic book movies are what "in" right now. It doesn't matter if it's owned by Marvel, WB, FOX, or even some separate party, people will come to see it regardless.

2) Fans will flock to see their favorite characters on the big screen regardless.

f) People still hold out hope that the new movie will be better than the previous one.

Planting spies is a waste of effort and carry risks if they are caught. Why attempt to sabotage a company if you are already doing well yourself? Especially when that company's success has little to no affect to how well you are doing. People aren't just going to stop watching MCU movies just because DECU movies would hypothetically be good and people aren't going to stop watching DECU movies just because Marvel is doing better at the moment.

It'd make more sense if, hypothetically, they were trying to sabotage FOX since they actually own the rights to characters in the Marvel universe and would thus have some interest on whether or not that company's cinematic universe fails.
