Is the Shredder an edgelord?

I think some versions obviously qualify, especially the 2003 version pictured below, but would you consider him an edgelord overall?

I feel like the word edge Lord has been played out by modern fans who see a character whose not nice or funny and think that must be edgy.

I wouldn't consider most versions of Shredder and edge Lord.... But 2003 would be an acception. Pretty sure he talked about eating the turtles at least on 2 occasions.
