Is The Joker the most iconic villain of all time?

I think if we waited another 5 decades the top dog is still going to be guys like Dracula or the Devil. While I think Joker and the Vader will be remembered and maybe even still relevant by then, they don't have the same kind of staying power as the former two.

That’s completely subjective. To me no he isn’t the most iconic villain of all time. There are a bunch of iconic villains.

Pop culture stands for popular culture. Comics are not popular, never have been.

Movies are popular. Joker has transcended comics into movies, but It is possible Thanos May overtake Joker as the nostalgia of Infinity War and Endgame builds from here on out. Vader did it in 3 movies, Thanos likely will too.

@havenless: I don't think that's likely personally. Stuff like Infinity War doesn't seem like it's a good nostalgia generator. It's more of a blow your load and forget about it kind of movie imo.

For me Agent smith, voldemort , vader, t1000 are more iconic with joker comming after them. There are also Dracula, frankenstein etc which i dont really consider to be a traditional villain.
