He usually is super OP. They make him job to loose. Even the writers says that. Wheb Thanos looses it is because of himself.

Sometimes he gets hurt burt by mid-tier characters or even streetlevels but thats just PIS.

In Base Form he is just wayyy above the kinds of Silver Surfer and he could stomp bunchs of heralds with ease.

He is very powerfull. But he is not overpowered. He falls into skyfather tier which still wouldnt be OP imo. From comic standards overpowered is probably universal tiers, reality warpers and so on.

Can he beat every version of Darkseid?

No. He's just above the likes of Silver Surfer and any other high/herald tier.

He is at Skyfather level. I would say that he would be equal to GDS Darkseid.

I don't see him as OP because he was meant to be a lot stronger than the heroes..

Characters arent overpowered, characters get bad writing. Like some of the authors that have given Thanos his best showings like Gillen dont make him feel overpowered at all, Starlin on the other hand...

Overpowered compared to what exactly? I feel like this term is thrown around too loosely, characters are as powerful as the threats they face.

We kinda have a name for people above heralds but below Skyfathers. They're called Teambusters, and Thanos is pretty high up on the list.

Then I agree. In terms of power levels I wouldn't say Starlin was out of touch, but in terms of his overwanked intelligence, totally.

Over star level strength and energy projection, durability that scales somewhere between multi solar system level-galaxy, as smart as Reed Richards and Brainiac, as cunning as Batman, consistently spanks plabetary heros, has spanked star busters, beat people who spanked planetary characters, stood up to skyfather tier characters, has telepathy, telekinesis, has shown resistance to reality warping and phasing

I can't think of a single character that ticks all these boxes so he might be OP but then again that depends on your definition of the word

He's a teambuster/low skyfather level character that is placed in a lot of non Skyfather level situations and encounters which makes him appear overpowered.

I think you meant to say high teambuster, Thanos beats up high heralds like it's nothing.

It would normally seem as if he is overpowered, but in comparison to the rest of comics, he isn't. To an average comic-book reader, he may seem like a being that is overpowered. But there are quite a few characters that make Thanos look minuscule in scale.

Kind of depends on the comic, but I'd generally agree he's portrayed at at least teambuster level, yeah.

Even writers like Giffen and Marz really showed his scientific side/intelligence, but didn't make him feel just as overly perfect as Starlin sometimes does.

I wouldn't say he is truly overpowered because he really isn't an Avengers villain. If you read his personal comic run that has lasted for about 20 years he's not overpowered for the type of struggles and enemies that he normally fights against. Like in infinity Relativity were he takes on an amped up Anihilus or in Samaritan from his 2003 comic series were he fights the Beyonder or in Infinity Quarry were he has to fight his Phoenix powered son Thane. If you look at the scale of enemy he's usually up against in the comics then he is just powerful enough to win with difficulty.

Standard levels no. He is solidly below Abstracts and some Skyfathers.

When Starlin gives him some artifact they yes he is.

This still holds true, especially with Thanos. Thanos is a very powerful character, but good writers are able to work around that(Giffen, Marz) instead of just randomly nerfing him(Bendis)

No, he is not. It's just how Starlin writes that makes him a bit too overwhelming from his recent books But surely it's the other way around when it comes to MCU.
