Is Terminator Dark Fate any good?

Looks good, but I heard it's only got decent reviews (not masterpiece level reviews like I was expecting) and those reviews have said it's not as good as T1 and T2.

So, without any spoilers, should I see it?

If you care about characters from T1 & T2 then no it's awful but if not then it's OK

I doubt many fans of 1&2 will be pleased with this film.

It has Arnold and Linda returning and the first film since T2 that Cameron had any involvement in.

The majority of reviews are basically right about this one; not a total misfire/disaster, like Genisys or Salvation, but not on par with the first two films. And honestly, I think they went back to the Terminator well WAY too many times.

We need a real Terminator 3 with James Cameron as the director. These pseudo-Terminators 3 are a shame.

Dark Fate kind of was a James Cameron Terminator 3 though. He didn't direct it, but the movie's story is taken from his plans for the films post-Judgment Day, and Cameron himself has said that this is the true sequel to Judgment Day.

@shroudofsorrow: I know, and his plans did not work in this Tim Miller's adaptation. With Cameron himself as the director, he would most likely change his mind about the script or somehow make it work. But he is lost in Pandora since the 2000's.

Liked Jesse alot, not so much the lead lady Dani. There are some really good scenes, but don't want give away spoilers.

You're better off watching this sequel to T2. Is way better.

It seems Genysis and T-Dark Fate took some elements from this show and twisted the story in a horrible way.

I might buy it, it looks a lot better than 3 and Salvation, I just plain skipped Geneysis, that one looked like a damn mess.

They killed John Connor. No.

I guess not if the guy who made the movie called men sexist if they chose not to watch the movie or incel, idk.
