Based on scaling and the new Aquaman feat. Is Superman stronger than what was believed?
Is Superman even more stronger by Aquaman's feat?
Absurdly strong now.
Someone should go ahead and update all the Thor vs Superman threads because Thor is nowhere near as strong as Superman as some believed.
We go through this everytime a new trailer comes out....trailer feats CANNOT be taken at face value.
Considering how many shots in trailers end up on the cutting room floor nowadays, theres no way we can even know if that scene is in the movie at all. Hell, studios now film shots and scenes specifically for trailers without any intention of putting them in the movie.
As of right now, that entire trailer is noncanon. Because we dont know what parts of it will end up in the final cut of the movie.
@bruceveidt: let’s take deep breaths. He could be more powerful underwater and we have yet to see the actual movie. Your bias is for sure showing.

No bias here sir, i don't even spend that much time in the battle forums
@codee01: I'm pretty sure it's easier to lift a heavy object underwater than in the air.
To be fair, he kept lifting it a little longer outside of the water.
@bruceveidt: but when you do, it is to bash the MCU lol.
Anyways, his trailer was awesome. Can’t wait for this movie. To be honest besides maybe MoS this is probably looking to be the best looking DC movie I have seen.

When have i bashed the MCU in battles?
I pretty much dropped the battle forums after IW. It became very toxic. I'm just recently spending time over there again.
I only know about people claiming Thor was "much stronger" from the rings feat because that's what was said when IW was out.
If Aquaman does not receive a strength boost from water than yes.
This. Though I feel like Superman is significantly more powerful than Aquaman regardless whether he's on the surface land or Atlantis, according to the way they portrayed him during JL.

B..bu..but Thor tanked the full power of the sun like nothing
Depends on how much strength boost he gets while in water, if he does at all. Otherwise it's still a bad-ass feat especially how quickly and casually he's doing i. Even a quarter of that strength feat would easily put him in the ten thousand tons range and SM dismissed him like a small child.

lmao IKR? That star was gonna kill Thor,Dude looked like burnt marshmallows, and his ass wasn't breathing. Groot saved his ass.
Lol at the people thinking it puts him anywhere near Thor...
And for this topic not really. Maybe in lifting feats, but in striking he already has a far better one with the WE. Superman didn't improve much since MOS, aside from speed.
Yeah like few others have said, If being on land doesn't make Arthur weaker then Superman is freakishly strong in the DCEU specially because Diana is meant to be even stronger than Arthur in universe and the combined strength of Diana Arthur and Cyborg couldn't even move Superman an inch.
But is it really a question? I mean in universe, he's meant to be. He's meant to be the top dog and that's what Justice League proved. That's why Batman wanted to resurrect Superman and that's why Cyborg and Batman called him stronger than a planet or something. That is why there was a newspaper article mentioning Superman shifting a tectonic plate.
He's meant to be Godly.
Well steppenwolf beat him both in water and on land so I don't think location matters
This.
It's not like Superman needs to be stronger at this point, but this is like an itch that needed to be scratched.
Superman does look freakishly stronger after this.
@bruceveidt: Come on people, admit that he has a star-level durability.

hahahahaha
1. We need to make sure it’s actually going to be in the movie first.
2. We need to know if aquaman is stronger in the water (likely)
3. We need to know the context.
When all questions have been answered we will know the answer to this, until the movie is out it’s all speculation.

Completely forgot about this.
