Is Sons of Anarchy a top 10 show of all time?

I would've even say it cracks my top 25 live action shows. There's so many incredible masterpieces from the small screen and I've barely scratched the surface. That's not even including stuff like Game of Thrones or Scrubs that were masterpieces until their botched final seasons.

9. Legion ( 9.25/10 ).

10. Westworld ( 9.25/10 ) - Only seen season 1.

11. The Boys ( 9/10 ) - Only seen season 1.

12. Barry ( 9/10 ) - Only seen season 1.

13. Mindhunter ( 9/10 ) - Only seen season 1.

Comparatively, I'd give something like Sons of Anarchy a mid to high 8/10. Didn't include stuff like "The Terror" or "The Shield" simply because I'm not too far into them at this point though both of them will likely fall within the 9 range if they maintain the quality of their first few episodes.

No. Quite the opposite; I think Sons of Anarchy is one of the most overrated shows to ever exist. The story-lines are told so sporadically that keeping track of everything is a chore, and none of the performances really stand out. I don't think it'd make my top 50.

It's a good show ,but not even close to top 10.

I loved the show for many reasons though there are shows I've enjoyed less that would be "better".

@killbilly: Good list. Have you seen Dexter and/or Peaky Blinders? If yes, what would you rank them?

I've seen Dexter. I'd give it a high 7 or low 8. The final seasons really bog it down but it's definitely a guilty favorite of mine. I haven't seen Peaky Blinders though it's on my list.

Props to you for even finishing Dexter. I stopped just a couple episodes into season 5. Despite season 1 and season 4 being some of my all-time favorite TV, I just could not watch anymore, the quality went downhill at terminal velocity.

The Shield by some of the same creators is better. True kino.
