Is Silver Surfer (FOX) overrated or is he still one of the top dogs in CBM's

He created a shockwave that was ten times the size of earth when he destroyed himself and Galactus.

Pretty sure he oneshotted Dr. Doom who withstood Human Torch’s supernova in the first film.

He also showed plenty of hax.

He’s not overrated at all, dude’s power was goofy.

Galactus was straight up large planetary level and Surfer defeated him and survived the explosion.

Matter manipulation to the point where the holes he made could be seen from space.

He's just that good.

Galactus ate Saturn, on screen... And Surfer.. killed him.

His power was just that amazing and still is.

People that say Surfer is featless either don’t know the meaning of the word. This could either mean they are using it wrong or just don’t know what they are talking about, which is different believe it or not.

The first means they actually mean Surfer does not scale to “so-and-so”, which is completely different from being featless.

The other means they simply either have not seen the movie or are just in plain denial about how good the feats Surfer performed were.

Either way, they are wrong.

Surfer wank is actually the most comical comedy the vine has ever produced. Anyone who remembers the Iron God debacle would definitely agree with this. Surfer basically stomped Iron God so hard in the vs thread, mods locked it due to a mismatch against Tony Stark. Funnily enough in the following issue, Tony melted Norrin into a silver puddle.

Overrated, but his Galactus feat is wanked like crazy. Yes it's a powerful/impressive feat, but not combat-applicable at all considering it took him like 30+ seconds to channel the energy.

30 seconds to charge a planet sized blast is beyond the characters the majority place surfer above. So not overrated. He could solo practically all high tier movies superheroes with a fraction of the output

I'll strongly agree with you on Surfer, though. Surfer debaters try to use Post-Annihilation to clear getting hammered by BRB in Blood and Thunder, almost getting his skull crushed by Warrior's Madness Thor, and failing to beat Thor even with Loki's powers added to his own in his own comic, but he also got his skull dented by Thor's headbutt in JMS's Thor run.

Why would he need nuance if he is a literal man who wears no clothes all the time? It’s not the words on the picture they’re paying attention to.

Because if that goofy cloud could pass an IQ test on any of the planets it consumed, it would have fought back, feasting on Surfer as if he was but a snack! I am beginning to suspect its surfboard sailing servant shares a troubling trait with the giant gassy gut, in that they are not very smart. No wonder a couple nerds took him down!
