He could possibly absorb energy from the sun to amp himself like Superman if The writers really wanted him to. Someone’s already done it in the verse.
There you have it ppl, the reason why it's utterly pointless to try to deliberate on it anyway.
They could do it tomorrow, take whatever concepts they have to their logical (or illogical) conclusion and it wouldn't make any significant difference unless the series narrative (which is the only thing that actually matters) changes with it.
