Well apparently people were expecting some kind of cosmic entity like Infinity Ultron, but as an Ant-Man villain, he is good I guess. He has Telekinesis, portals etc. And they also showed what he is really capable of with enough prep and technology (like destroying planets and entire timelines etc), so new variants might be much stronger than this one

Yes he is arguably a high tier

Agree, i think the expectations were too great. He was never supposed to be the big bad of Phase 5, just one of the variants. I don't think he can beat high tiers like Thor and Carol, but he's pretty strong nonetheless.

I think he's above Steppenwolf/Ares tier aswell.

No he's actually being overrated. His feats are legitimately mid tier level and about on par with Namor, Ikaris or Spiderman.

Also I hope you mean weakened DCEU Ares not prime ares

@moosixer: This is just wrong. Kang scales significantly above Leviathan's durability wise which alone makes him tanky enough to laugh off Peter's usual attacks. He can telekinetically catch energy blasts capable of one-shotting a huge monster that had dwarfed Giant-Man, can casually knock Giant-Man around after he had just no sold an entire barrage of energy blasts, and can vaporize people with his casual blasts. Peter would get absolutely folded by Kang no matter what suit he was wearing.

Dude the people who are using the stupid he got killed by ants lowball are mostly dc people💀

I don't think People understand That Kang oneshotted The likes of Giantman whom is honestly High tier imo.

I mean Giantman is comparable to Avengers 1 Hulk whom I consider one.

So Kang with full access to his gear: God Tier.

Kang with base gear: High tier with energy projections and tech.

They were at least 4-7 feet tall on average. A regular tiny ant can lift 5k times its own bodyweight even if they were regular they would still be extremely strong

I am. But the civil war thing hurts my argument, rather than supports it. CW Ant-Man is much weaker overall than current but just a glancing blow is enough to put Peter out of commission

No. It's an anti feat that only applies to the weaker version of BOTH Ant-Man and Spidey in CW.

The feats he does in later movies ( specifically the one's I mentioned initially) suggest current Peter can survive a punch from current Ant-Man

They could damage buildings and aircrafts like tissue paper.

They are pretty strong.

That is just a feat for the ants.

They do not have any anti feats whatsoever and their Tech is comparable to the likes of Kang etc...

People are lowballing Kang because the consider Scott a fodder for whatever reason when quite frankly Scott as Gian man has been a beast.

Giantman straight up was given some of the best strength and striking feat in Live action. So yes tanking his from his and casually blasting him back is a high tier feat.

If only Scott had attacked Kang when he was Uber Giant-Man. Scott was 65ft at the airport, 35ft when chasing the lab, 110ft when fighting Thanos' forces and Kang, and a whopping 330ft when getting peppered by fodder aircraft.

I love watching a mid tier no-sell the suns surface, create shockwaves than can be seen from space, take on a team of powerful hero’s by himself, and fly to the sun in 10 seconds to be fair. Sounds like a high tier to me.

And Namor cuts clean through Vibranium like butter, and no-sold large Vibranium-busting explosions while significantly weakened. Again clear high tier feats.
