With characters at her level I think it is smarter to assume so unless it is proven otherwise; outside of the notable exception of Wonder Woman high tier characters (even film high tiers) generally are.

She hasn't shown that level of piercing durability, so most likely no. I can give the benefit of the doubt for her Binary mode, but in her normal self she dies.

Yes, obviously, separate durabilities are stupid and doubly so for more powerful characters, she'd tank any normal bullet.

If she's never been hit with gunfire before, it's pretty much impossible to prove either way. We would also need to know to what extent is she bulletproof - maybe CM could withstand handgun rounds but not necessarily autocannon rounds.

A fist has more surface area and different density so the requirement changes. Supes got hit with 7.62 mm rounds. Did the ships she destroyed apply more psi over a 7.62 mm area than the bullets did? Yes.

So is she bullet proof? Eh...but could she tank 7.62 mm rounds? Most likely, yeah. If the circumdtances and mechanics were the same. MCU Graviton for example uses a gravity field for durability. Does Carol use an energy field as well? Because that changes the mechanics of her ship busting.

It's still impossible to say because, bullshit or not, blunt damage and piercing damage are commonly treated as their own thing by writers. It's why characters like Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, The Flash, Naruto, Yusuke, Captain America, Batman, and many, many more can shrug off powerful punches/impacts but still be harmed by knifes and guns. Some characters like Aquaman are only partially resistant. While I'm not against CM being bulletproof, I personally wouldn't claim that she is if I were the one debating for her simply because there's nothing concrete as of yet. That's just me, though.

@paytience: You can do damage without penetrating the skin like breaking a skull with a punch. Thats blunt damage and resistance to it depends on the toughness of the skull not UTS ie cutting resistance.

Look at Aquaman, bullets from an assault rifle only knocked him on his ass. Now is carol bullet proof? Most likely in her binary form but when she's not powered up - no way.

I'm pretty sure she no sold alien weaponry in the film. And i also think the bullets were leaving holes so there must have been some kind of projectile instead of just being energy based. Might need someone to confirm though because i wasnt watching all that carefully.

People need to remember that this is fiction, she bullet proof as long as the writers want her to be. Logically she should be bullet proof, but logically she should have died from that explosion instead of getting superpowers.

Yes. She easily tanks shots from a Kree fighter during the final battle. Can't link because new to the site but you can find it easily on youtube or whatever. She would very easily be able to handle any kind of terrestial gunfire.

She no sells shrapnel pieces from spaceship explosions.

And she easily held a high level tech Kree sword with her bare hands then she breaks it with ease.

That sword can cut a high quality steel like butter.
