Is Fast and Furious 64 overrated?
@benjamin_poindexter: really?
@all-father: Exactly! These movies are to kill time and enjoy good looking people beating each other up and driving fast cars.
A power fantasy and guilty pleasure.
They never tried to be anything else and nobody is forcing anyone to watch them.
Jesus, not everyone wants to see Morgan Freeman or Tom Hanks look sad over somber music for two hours.
Sometimes I want dumb fun.
@theamazingspidey: I didn't watch 7 even though I vowed I would.
The first Fast and Furious film was the last movie I saw with both parents before my mother passed away. So I promised to watch until the end.
Didn't hurt that I drag raced back in High School either.
That shit was big here in South Florida.
They're goofy movies and they know it and so people who watch it, so no.
It's not calming to be high art
No. It's not claiming to be the next great action series. It's dumb fun that does it well ( unlike transformers)
It is much better than Transformers at the very least. Some parts are really dumb like a dude from the street beating up international terrorist with navy seal training, because he has the power of family boosting him.
Overrated? I have yet to meet a person who liked any of those movies.
Probably cause you don't get out much. I know a whole bunch of people who like those dumb-ass movies.
