Heat vision is confirmed to be light.
Also scales to Batman
>blocks a beam stated to be light
>scales above others who have also reacted to said light beam
>has multiple feats of casually reacting to lightning
>not FTL
CV logic never fails
Flash is stated to be able to punch at the speed of light - Superman reacted to his blitz
Heat vision is stated to be light - Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Batman, multiple times in the Snyder Cut, have reacted to it

Without ignoring several feats, everyone in the DCEU scales to light speed.
Hell no.
Go ahead and complete that Flash file. He CAN but he was afraid to. WE got statued by a Flash going under the speed of light.
Even in the Snyder cut he states that was the only time he “broke the rule”
@j_normal: he’s afraid to punch people, why would he hold back his speed in retreating from what he thinks is a bloodlusted Superman?
Thats not what it said. It said he was afraid to approach the speed of light which was further explained in the Snyder cut of him not wanting to distort time.

Punch specifically, which fits in with his inexperienced character in the film who mainly "pushes" enemies and runs away. And if we're bringing up the SC, that Flash went "far beyond the speed of light" while severely weakened. It's absurd to think a healthy Flash wouldn't even go SoL while afraid and against a bloodlusted Superman
I think the guidebook specifies that heat vision works in 2 different forms, the laser (which young Clark heats a doorknob with) and the energy blast type (the giant bursts that spray everywhere). Only one of these is a red light. The other is plasma, air heated massively by said red light.
It would also explain why Batman glows red before Doomsday's heat vision ever reaches him. Energy blast is still decently fast, just not lightspeed.
As for Flash scaling, I thought it was established that if he goes relativistic or FTL time reverses. Which is why he has that rule in place. When he did that, Clark was statued.
Lightning feats should be fine. Roping is not technically timing since she's not timing the tip, but the Ares feat is legitimate imo.
She's a bullet-timer, nothing more, nothing less.
You are strictly using headcannon. As O said for the third time now when Barry was first recruited by Brice he told him he avoids going the speed of light due to distorting space time. Flash was not going SoL in that specific Scene.
Also him holding back his speed to avoid breaking the rule just means he’s that much faster than Superman and could still avoid him with relative ease while not approaching the Speed of light.
If Diana is FTL because she reacted to Doomsday's heat vision, then Batman is FTL as well...
Do you even know what light speed is?
If you walk into a dark room and flick the light switch on, its not the speed of the electricity hitting the light bulb. Its the speed of the light leaving the bulb and illuminating the walls and everything in the room.
If Superman or Doomsday could project their lasers at light speed, they'd hit their target as soon as they're painted red (refer to second gif).
@achillesspawn: subsonic heat vision
