Is she? For example does she have a chance against adapted Zod or Faora without her shield and sword?
Hard question to answer, considering the major inconsistency of her being able to hold her own against Doomsday but being leagues below Superman in JL. We just need to see more appearances from her to get a better understanding of her power level.
Hoping to see some good action between her and Cheetah.
It is worth pointing out that Diana didn't want to kill Clark when they fought in Justice League. She was hesitant to even attack him and didn't want to use her sword.
Superman is also much, much stronger now than he was when he fought Zod. Far more experienced and far more comfortable with his powers. After his resurrection he also seemed to have discovered a whole new world of combat speed compared to his previous self, possibly thanks to his confrontation with Barry.
So yes, I'd say Diana can contend with the likes of Nam-Ek and Faora. She doesn't quite have their strength, but she does have her speedblitz from her solo to say she can keep up with Foara and her sword can cut through them like tissue paper. Zod is debatable chiefly because of the flight advantage.
Another thing worth considering is we've never really seen her tap into her divine heritage like she did against Ares where she gained extra powers like what he had. It is possible this will come up again in a future movie and we've just not seen it yet.
Diana being clowned by Superman in JL despite seemingly having some parity with him in BvS can be explained if we simply assume that Clark was not operating at his peak in the last battle of BvS. He had been hit by a nuclear bomb point-blank and been exposed to/inhaled two heavy doses of Kryptonite, along with being cut on the cheek by it. It is likely that the brief exposure to sunlight did not bring him back to 100%.
Bruce (and the others) all seemed to acknowledge that Superman was simply a lot more powerful than anybody on the Justice League.
I don't think we can say how she would compare to the other Kryptonians from an in-universe perspective, given that Clark was a veritable rookie in MOS.
Had this question been asked before Justice League came along I'd have said yes without thinking a lot but now clearly she isn't in the same ballpark unless they choose to ignore what happened to her power levels in JL.
And they should ignore it. Just like aquaman ignored jl and gave him much better feats than in jl. In jl we never even saw her tap into her divine heritage like she did against Ares, where she gained extra powers similar to what he had. It is possible this will come up again in future films.
Yes, in the video of the 4th comment she's objectively stopping a punch from the Kryptonian monstrosity Doomsday in the thumbnail, and shows the exact same speed as Superman in the first 30 seconds. The Mother Box made Superman far more powerful, the same way it made Cyborg vastly more powerful, minus the machine parts.
In some ways she's more powerful due to her gear and other stuff like her disintegrating god aura. The only reason to think otherwise is due to dumb piercing resistance bullshit and whatnot.
@atmexle: @hispanicspidey: @rogueshadow: @amcu: @arkhamasylum3: @thebestofthebest: @rbt: I do think she should grow in feats in future films. It would be way off base to portray DCEU WW as a super human red sonja. In the comics she has always had the physical stats to stand up against kryptonians. I know that movie version of powerhouses are never as powerful as their comic version. But i think it would be a mistake to leave movie version of WW in a position where she doesn't have enough physical power to stand her ground against other heavy hitters. She is supposed to be a powerhouse, not just a super human warrior woman.
