Is DCEU Aquaman's trident country-continent level?

Ancient Atlanteans were trying to harness the trident's power with a machine but the explosion from the machine sunk Atlantis. Which means the trident is country-continental level. Is this true?

in theory, it's probably more city-country, but could eventually be continent level and would probably take a machine to unleash that potential again

It's very vague. A lot less reliable than DCEU Supes' continent shifting feat. Particularly due to the fact that in a society that "uncovered the secrets to unlimited energy" a lot of things could have led to the explosion. I would take it as more of a reference to the comic but adjusted with the machine and all to make it less OP. So the trident gets to be part of the reason Atlantis sunk without being the sole cause. If Aquaman gets another feat in proceeding movies that even remotely implies the trident is anywhere near that destructive (even vaguely) then it can be taken as implied fact.

However if it does become multi-country level that would really boost DCEU power levels in general.

No but I think it packs enough energy to completely devastate an entire continent
