Is Batman punching the Reverse Flash PIS?(spoilers)

I can't imagine this was Thawne toying with Batman, given the raging grimace on his face and being covered in his own blood already. Yet the timer clearly shows he was barely using any super speed, so it's not hard to imagine a peak human reacting when he's effectively moving only around 10 FPS. The question then becomes why on earth is a bloodied and furious Reverse Flash still barely using his power.

Well Batman put a batarang through Eobard's foot so he shouldn't be able to run really fast with that injury. What's impressive is that Batman managed to punch before he could react.

If we are taking real word physics into consideration for the Reverse Flash...

• Flash's Ankles Are Broken Every Time He Runs
• Reverse Flash becomes blind if traveling up the side of a building.
• Get instantly killed if he came in contact with a fly while running.
• Must gradually decelerate in order to stop.
• Running at Over Mach 20, he Basically kills Himself and Everybody Around Him
• He Dies If Going over 270 mph.
• He Dies If He Runs Up a Hill.

"Peak Humans" can do anything in DC/Marvel, Batman can touch Flash and Captain America can K.O Hulk.

It was clear that RF was toying with him the whole time, which is the problem with most DC villains as they underestimate Batman due to his Lack of powers. But if i would to explain him tagging him it would be due to the fact he stabbed his foot.

Eh i don't understand how anyone can say RF was toying with batman when it was clear that RF was shocked that Batman survived the first attack and then batman wasted no time and stabbed him in his foot to slow him down which made RF very angry and Batman is not someone you take lightly or downplay

No. With speed-of-light guys, everything could be "PIS" (which i believe doesn't exist, but that's another topic). I mean, what should happen? RF shows up, One panel later Batman dies. That'd be "realistic" and a really bad comic to pay $3 for. If we want every hero to be represented the way his/her "power set" says he/she should be, than folks like Flash, Superman, Thor and villains of the same ilk etc...would never, ever break a sweat and all comic books involving them would be less than a page.

But, my biggest point is, comics are fantasy. There's a thing we do for the story called "suspending disbelief" I guess there are times the story could be asking you to do that too much, but I don't think Batman hitting RF Flash once qualifies. That'd be like if Jimmy Olsen, no powers, no nothing, just Jimmy Olsen, kicked Superman's ass.

Each panel spans a single second. If Reverse Flash is moving that slow, then of course Batman could exchange with him. The real question is why Reverse Flash chose to fight at normal human speeds.

The only PIS in that panel is RF not getting oneshotted.

One word batman

It isn't honestly jarring to me, even if the entire forum finds it to be. Couple of reasons. Some of them semi scientific.

One, I watched a video of a guy slice out a 500 mile per hour BB gun bead with a Katana by predicting where the bead was going to be, based on the user's aim. Then you take batman, who I'd love to headcanon as dodging the aim of supersonic projectiles. However, I'm pretty sure there is a platoon of feats of Batman somehow dodging supersonic projectiles after they are fired with what would require superhuman speed. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

So, with this, compounded with

• People mentioning that batman stabbed reverse flash in the foot.
• People stating that RF played with Batman too much
• How comic physics depict peak humans as being blatantly within the realm of superhumans

And I don't really find it all that jarring. I more or less just headcanon that batman intercepted zoom with one lucky punch at mach 3 or 4 or whatever. High end bullet speed. Predicted where he'd be after he sprinted at him. Guessed right. *WHAM*

So, at the end of the day, it doesn't bother me much at all.

Oh and I think the whole point of including the timer was to show that RF wasn't going that fast. Or maybe that is just me

well, the issue at last establishes the question: are people in flash's tier really too fast for peak humans to react like their fans used to think? Clearly not.

The answer is easy people, it's so obvious why a mere mortal can last in a fight someone who can move so fast the world stands still and can travel at lightspeed which by most common logic would allow him to easily kill a regular person if he used his speed properly.
