Yes 65%
No 35%

I feel like people are not giving the female Super Soldier enough credit.

What do you think ?

I liked her as a supporting character in Daredevil.

She does have a few really exceptional high end feats.

For example, her ex-husband was some super villain a few decades ago, and I remember Captain America could not defeat him. But Natasha succeeded.

Writers never really indicate much of a difference between her and Daredevil either, and they are paired up relatively frequently.

Not really, she doesn't have a handful of high end feats.

She needs to be thrown into some higher-end scenarios.

Writing-wise, she's had the most consistently good solo books of any Marvel A-lister I can think of in the past decade or so. When it comes to team books and cameos, she's not bad either. She's just generally a well-written character overall. I think very few people realize that.

Battle potential-wise.. I think it's wrong for people to make impressions about a character mainly from this perspective in the first place..

In Natasha's case, she's just not that kind of character. She's first and foremost a spy, and if she just keeps getting caught up in high-end battle situations, I'd very much question her infiltration, escape, and overall espionage capabilities.

It's a good thing her writers don't get carried away or tempted to make her some kind of trigger-happy battle prodigy. Make no mistake, she can be just as good as her fellow hero contemporaries when she needs to be.
