Man of Steel for me, Iron Man's really good but the finale was a huge let down for me. It got all corny too with the villain. Also, ZOD >Any Iron Man villain
I was amazed by the visuals, and particularly the care Snyder takes with visual transitions, and at the same time Zimmer does the same with the score.
Action wise it is a spectacle, that challenges us to think about what it would be like if titans walked the Earth, and doesn't hold back on its realistic depiction of the consequences of their actions (particularly in the carnage they'd create).
They are almost dead even for me. They are equal on just about all fronts, except for the villain. Since Zod was a way better villain than Iron Monger, I'll give it to MoS by like a fraction of a point.
That said Iron Man is still the best MCU movie to date and one of the greatest CBMs of all time
Can someone please explain why Iron Man (2008) is held in high esteem? Everyone talks about Robert Downey Jr.'s performance, but is that all there is to the movie? The villain, climax, story and action were all unremarkable. I actually prefer the sequel (bite me).
