Iron Fist Season 2 - Official Trailer
Both Finn and the fans keep asking for the IF costume, but I personally find it ridiculous, and I definitely don't see it working in live action, esspecially given Netflix's rather low budget.
I think it would look pretty awesome to be honest.
Yeah, with slight changes like those it does look cool. But it shouldn't be any material similar to armor like the Daredevil suit or a catsuit or whatever.
I think I've seen fanmade ones and it would work well if they made him sort of like a ginny-type of guru with it. But an exact replica of the comicbook one would be a mistake imo.

Depends which one you mean. The original Iron Fist suit with the collar, I agree, but the one from Fraction onwards is cool, I think it could work:
I want Daredevil to get a new suit anyway, I'm not much of a fan of the Netflix suit.
The scan you posted is the one in referring to. The concept art looks great, and I believe it's a similar suit that would work, but such a tight, fabric like costume would look both appalling and fake.
I agree. It kinda looks like it's heavier than it should be, and seems fake/plastic too. I just wish they increase the budget there. The movies have clothing and costumes designed by world class, seriously expensive designers, I think that's what Tom Holland said, but even something more realistic would work.

The guy who designed Matt's suit is actually Ryan Meinerding, the same one from the MCU films. The material is fine for me, it just isn't form fitting enough imo, it should look more like this:
But the helmet wound up looking too bulky, and it sort of sags in places, I hope he gets a new one towards the end of S3. The Netflix shows seem to put there money into New York location and the actors, but I'd like to see better costumes.
It would work if it were a similar material to the Spider-Man suits, but I prefer the concept art anyway. They have an issue because street-level excuse doesn't really work for Iron Fist given that he's a billionaire.

That looks great.
Huh, didn't know that. Definitely doesn't look as good as the movie heroes' costumes though. Either my personal taste or a price difference.
Where did you pick that concept art up from?
@anthp2000: It was posted online years ago. Not sure if it was on the guy's art-station or by Netflix.
Thanks. It looks great.
Was thinking that too, he seems to be getting much better control over the Fist.
What durabilty are you talking about though?
Danny looks OP, looks like he has a striking and durability boost.
It looks like he got a boost in everything. The way IF abuses slo-mo, I won't be surprised if he gets bullet timing feats.
@anthp2000: Well I think he is definitely going to tank some of Serpents blasts and this is what he can do. (Gif is awful I know, but you get the point)
@rbt: Bullet timing... there were machine guns in that scene to be fair and he was surrounded, so I guess its a possibility.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

If you want to know how that scene ends.
That scene ends with his trade mark AOE punch to the ground and he KOs everyone.
If you'd like to know more about that Davos and Danny fight when they have the IF mask on.
That fight is a flashback. The end up fighting for almost 8+ hours to the death or submission to become the rightful IF. Danny ends up winning but they both nearly die.
So far, I haven't seen him do any Neo Matrix like reactions. But I'm confident that even without the IF, I think Danny has become the most skilled defender. Matt did fight a angry unlevel headed Danny in Defenders.

It looks like he's just becoming more true to his comic book coutnerpart. It makes sense, he's using a mystical energy to amp himself. If DD was going around doing all these feats, I'd question it.
@slimj87d: So he pinned his fist to the ground quicker than the bullets could reach him?
Looks amazing really can't wait for this finally we'll get to see him using the fist throughout the whole season and the choreography and cinematography look much better than the first season
At one point, I don't think they show it, Danny is in the van when they fire at him. He ends up closing the door and using it as a shield.
When he punches the ground, I don't remember anyone pulling the trigger on him.
The only gripe I have with this is Danny's Iron Fist. It only glows in one hand (his right). I would really enjoy it if you hand use is in both as his 616 version. It's a bit nitpicky but I think it'll be way cooler if he can alternate fists and use it simultaneously. Kinda like this:
Also, I'm hoping Rand receives a new outfit because these jackets and sweatpants are not cutting it for me. Looks a bit corny.
@stellatedcolt: We know that a IF is capable of doing both hands. I believe they only have one of his hands glowing to represent that his training is only half complete and not as complete as the 1940s Iron Fist we have seen.
I take it as artistic symbolism. Of course I'm looking forward to the day both his fist glow.
