Injustice 2 ultimate edition is it worth it?

Does the Ult. Edition come with all 9 characters? If so, then it's a 45$ value (each character is 5$ IIRC). So it would be worth the money, the question is whether you are willing to spend it. I think you should wait and see who the other 6 characters are so you know if you're interested in them.

I would say it's not the best value exactly but it's not a rip off either, if you like the game and have the money then sure.

I mean you could always pick and choose the ones you want if you're not sure on just getting the ultimate and it's not like the ultimate won't still be available to buy when the other dlc characters are revealed if you're still interested. I. It's not the worst deal I've seen and it's not like the base game is bare bones by any means compared to other games with a "season pass". It all comes down to how much you want to invest. I personally am getting it because of my 20% off discount through amazon prime and it's a nice gift for myself after graduating.

@stoneyalex: yea I think it will be just the first three. They made a smart move including who will be the most popular dlc characters ( Red Hood and Sub-zero) in the first pack. Scorpion was the highest selling dlc character last game. Not to mention you get the Jon Stewart GL and Reverse Flash skins in the ultimate

it depends on your tastes. its also worth mentioning the some of the shaded characters could be fakes to keep people from guessing who they are.

@stoneyalex: Shazam is dead as a doornail in the injustice verse. I was half expecting him to be an alternate skin for Black Adam and I still think he might be.

I dont think I've ever seen a modern ultimate edition game that was actually worth it. It's usually loads more expensive, the in-game content is usually something you can pick up later on anyways, often it's just skins, and out of game its at best a statue or some booklet... and ofc (withPS4's) you usually get a season pass as well, which I've never understood why anyone would want or need.

You could just get the "Digital Deluxe Edition" and save $20.

Digital Deluxe Edition comes with 3 full characters: Starfire, Red Hood, Sub-Zero, a Power Girl Skin/Voice, & with whatever a gear shader is.

Delayed gratification, my man. Within a year, there will be a GoTY-type release that has all content for a cheaper price. MK X, for example, released April 2015 and MK XL came out 11 months later (March 2016). Personally, I hate these piecemeal dlc strategies that are so common now.

@jedixman: That's awesome, I liked the first one a lot too. Who's gonna be your day one character in Injustice 2? I'm thinking about taking Black Canary for a spin my first go around. She has a very interesting move set and I love her aesthetic design.

I really want to try Blue Beetle, Captain Cold, Darkseid, and Deadshot. My main in Injustice 1 was Deathstroke, followed by: Scorpion, Raven, Nightwing, and a bit of Zod.
