If Comic Vine and other debating sites were shut down, would you read less comics?

I doubt it would effect my reading much, tbh.

I was reading comics before this site was ever conceived.

I don't read many anymore anyway (I'm stuck in the 1990's & early 2000's).

I would miss this site however.

I don't just read comics for feats and fights, I read them for story and characters. I was reading comics long before I joined Comicvine so I think I'd keep up my regular reading habits were CV and other forums to close.

I doubt it, but at the same time my comic reading has decreased significantly in the past year or so.

No and to be honest I forgot most feats in a story by the end of it, so that's no reason why I read a story.

I don't read to debate. There's a few series id never check out without recommendations from others though. Like if I didn't hear how everyone loved Hawkeye by Fraction I would've never given it a chance

Maybe if they shut down the "news" part of that sites, I will read less [american] comics, simply couse in Italy it's more difficult to monitoring what's on the American comic market and information site aid a lot...

Doubt it would have any effect really. I don't read comics for that reason although occasionally I do think how some users here would react to certain feats and incidents.

I read some comics for debate purposes, but mostly read what I wanted in life. I have not read anything really in over year.

No but comic sites have helped me know about other companies or comics in general since only Marvel and Dc are sold in my local store.

I'd say my reading habits have been bolstered by comic vine. I read partly off of recommendation and also to get context to certain instances. I get enjoyment out of talking to people about them because I just enjoy discussion and debate.

If CV and other sites vanished then I'd probably have to find a shop or something. But I wouldn't stop reading.
