Not even sure if there's an enchantment on Stormbreaker. I don't think she's worthy of Mjolnir though the only person I want to see lifting Mjolnir would be Steve and I think through time travel Mjolnir will be back and Steve will lift it
@thorthunder98: hope you’re right! And there is confirmed no enchantment on Stormbreaker
Stormbreaker doesn't have a "worthy" requirement so her using it would be like, big meh
If Steve can get close enough to lifting it to the point of Thor pooping his pants then Carol should be able to achieve the same effect. Through that dumb theory of Steve being able to do it but pretending he can't to appease Thor and be a team leader is funny.
@immadnice: Who confirmed it?
@thorthunder98: russos
Wrong Captain. It should be Steve.
Wrong Captain. It should be Steve.
No, no, no and no, I'll rant and scream in the theater if she lifts Mjolnir, only Steve deserves to lift it.
I'll go "yasssss, slay queen!" then stand up and kick the nearest white cis guy in the nuts. For staring too long at the female characters on the screen without their consent. Then Carol will pick up Cap's shield and dual wield Cap's shield and Mjölnir, catch a Hawkeye arrow out of the air and then use it to stab Thanos's eyes and groin, and then the whole theater will clap!
But nah, I don't think she will and I don't think she should. I also don't think Steve should either or that he 'deserves' to either. Only one other person I want to see wield it in the MCU and he's horse faced. I can't find it, but Walt Simonson had an interesting quote on why he didn't think Cap could/should be "worthy" and it wasn't really negatively reflecting on Cap either.
She definitely not worthy to lift mjolnir and Strombreaker has no enchantment so Cleven Steve could probably lift it
Since they're going back in time, this is the last opportunity for the real Cap to wield it once and go out with a bang. Not the new boring feminist icon of Disney.
Stormbreaker doesn’t have a worthy enchantment. Thor said that if someone wasn’t strong enough to wield it they would collapse into madness. Captain Marvel has TP resistance feats so her mind and her body should be able to handle it.

What is it?
I'd rather have Captain America do it. He's earned it. Captain Marvel hasn't.
I don't really care if she lifts Stormbreaker, I don't think they've even established that it has the same worthiness enchantment as Mjolnir.
I'd be annoyed if she lifted Mjolnir. I've always been of the opinion that only Thor and Steve should be able to lift Mjolnir among the Avengers. Obviously all of the Avengers are pretty good people, but if everybody can lift the hammer it really takes away from what makes it special. Steve lifting the hammer is such an iconic moment, and I feel he's earned such a moment over the course of the MCU. Carol can work up to having her moments too, as she's sure to feature prominently post-Endgame. I'm not gonna walk out of the theater or anything, but I'd be quite dissapointed.
Additionally, Steve lifting the hammer makes sense because it takes him from street level to higher tier. Captain Marvel is already arguably as powerful or more powerful than Thor even without the hammer, I just don't think she needs that extra power boost to make an impact against Thanos.

@kevd4wg: I can't remember exactly sorry, something about Odin's idea of worthiness and/or Steve's unwillingness to kill.
If that's true, that's kind of odd since Steve has killed quite a few times in the movies. Not really cold blooded, but in the heat of battle (which should coincide with Thor).
Is there any enchantment that prevents people from lifting it?? I mean, Groot technically lifted it when he created the handle, yeah??
@jedixman: He was talking about the comics and his view on the characters. Captain America (and a few others) had and have since lifted Mjölnir regardless.
Ah, fair enough.

Actually, I don't think there's any proof that Stormbreaker has any such enchantment; Odin put the enchantment on Mjolnir, and Odin is dead.
There is no worthiness enchantment on Stormbreaker to begin with. Or at least no reason for it to be there. Thor juat said the weapons were to powerful for mortals to use, since Captain Marvel is more powerful than moat asgardians she should theoretically be able to hold it.
She's not worthy to lift Hawkeye's bow, less alone Mjolnir.
Wrong Captain. It should be Steve.
