How was the Justice League of America suppose to fight the Justice League?

Amanda Waller made a team to fight the justice league but the team seems to be unable to fight the league or stop a blitzing except for Martian Manhunter so how was Amanda Waller’s team suppose to fight the league.

Are you talking about Johns’ JLA? Yeah the roster was severely underpowered and judging by Trinity War and Forever Evil, Waller’s plan really didn’t go great.

Yeah, not many in this roster made sense considering the reason they were all gathered for. Some like Vibe who could use his powers to cut off the Flash from the Speed Force made more sense but others like Katana for Wonder Woman?

They actually break it down. Technically speaking mmh alone could cause the JL trouble. Some members we're brought on for reasons out of combat like Selina knowing Batman the best not counting people who clearly wouldn't work with them
