Still won't be as good as The Dark Knight. :D
HOW MUCH MORE MONEY WILL RAGNAROK MAKE THAN BVS
@never_give_up: man take a chill pill, it doesn't matter how much MOS made cuz that has nothing to do with Thor. Even if it doesn't make a billion I don't care, I only care that its a good movie.
You're the one that's upset. Thor & TDW weren't that good. They need the Hulk for the third one so they can make more money. So what does BvS have to do with Thor Ragnarok? So I guess there's no point in this thread then? You only care if it's a good movie just earlier you said it'll easily pass 1 billion. What do you want a high grossing Thor film or an actual good Thor movie, we haven't really gotten one yet tbh.
Basically, you came here to laugh at BvS numbers saying Thor Ragnarok will easily pass it. Showing you care about how much money the movie makes. Then I showed you facts that MOS(The first DCEU movie) made more than both Thor movies and it doesn't matter and I'm just hating.
You're upset I know, hopefully Thor Ragnarok makes a bit more money but that'll be because of the Hulk.
@asgardianbrony: MOS made more than both Thor movies.
MOS

Thor & TDW

Keep in mind the MCU had Avengers already and TDW didn't make more than MOS. MOS was the first movie in the DCEU verse.
@gunada: Did you click on the links or bother reading? Your trolls attempts are very weak tbh.
@never_give_up: yes I did, I even screen capped your post,i'm just waiting for someone else to explain to you in a very basic way why $668,045,518 is lesser than $449,326,618+$644,602,516.

I never said put together. Don't reach.
TDW came out after the hype of the Avengers and it still didn't make more than MOS.

I didn't even realize.. Ayyy
@never_give_up: MoS made 47M for the studio with a 225M budget
TDW made more than 140M for Marvel/Disney with a 170M budget
To simplify it for you, MoS made more 24M in the B.O but had a budget 55M higher and more costs promoting this flop of a movie.
One more thing, comparing Thor's origin movie with supes second reboot is low, even for you.
Compare these two instead.

Peace.
@gunada: Back tracking, nothing new. MOS was an obvious risk after Superman Returns. I wouldn't expect you to realize that, though.
@asgardianbrony I'm not upset. But I like the way you jumped ship because I was wrecking you :P
usually for there to be an argument you need two people, but your the only one arguing so.....
Nice save at least this is one case where you won't try to argue against pure facts.
Take this it's for you.

Given the track record of Thor films, I'm not liking it's chances.
Can you elaborate on Thor films track record? How many superhero movies made $1.1B in the first 2 solo movies? Most? Or just Iron-Man, Spider-Man, Batman and Captain America? Is Thor in the Top 5?
If we acknowledge that around 60/movies were based only in Dc and Marvel properties, again what is really your point? The point that Wolverine, X-Men, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Blade, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Jonah Hex, Watchmen, Green Lantern, Constantine all failed to translate so well to live action like Thor (a God Superhero)? Where is the MoS sequel? And keep in mind that Flash or Wonder Woman only will have movies because of the Mcu success where Thor movies are one of the 3 main pillars... And is just pointless that you bring the reception argument since Thor movies reception/profit is superior to most comic book movies including the 2 movies from the Dceu...
@never_give_up: how you gonna live now that you know Thor made more money than MoS?

But it didn't.
@asgardianbrony: I was wrecking you, confirmed.
Attempt to get me in trouble because I called you out and you can't take the heat.
@never_give_up: I warned you.
You seem a little defensive.
Posting facts is trolling I guess.
@asgardianbrony: stalking and harassing online is a punishable offense, if you press charges, he's done for lol.

I'm talking about the topic's presumption about Thor 3 making more money than BvS, which grossed 871m worldwide. Thor made 449m and Thor: The Dark World made 644m. MOS made 668m worldwide. Ragnarok isn't making more than BvS based on these numbers, it's possible but highly unlikely. What's my point? It's rather self explanatory. I'm not here to discuss DC vs Marvel films as a whole or which films have been influenced, that isn't even this thread's topic.
So when you mean track record is only based in box office numbers? Not one other single variable? Like budget, cast, premise, marketing, trailer, Reception? When a franchise has movies around $600M can't even think in one $1B movie? Interesting... I won't even use Iron Man since there are the Avengers movies in the middle... Still...
Casino Royale | Sony | $599.0 | $167.4 | 28% | $431.6 | 72% | 2006 |
Quantum of Solace | Sony | $586.1 | $168.4 | 28.7% | $417.7 | 71.3% | 2008 |
Skyfall | Sony | $1,108.6 | $304.4 | 27.5% | $804.2 | 72.5% | 2012 |

In the context of this thread which is asking about how much it will gross, yes I'm only talking about box office numbers.
Ok. I think its fair from your part, but as an example the previous movies performance can be less relevant than other variables...
Captain America: The First Avenger | Par. | $370.6 | $176.7 | 47.7% | $193.9 | 52.3% | 2011 |
Captain America: The Winter Soldier | BV | $714.4 | $259.8 | 36.4% | $454.7 | 63.6% | 2014 |
Going only by the numbers at this point what numbers should we expect for Captain America Civil War? $875M?
Captain America: Civil War | BV | $1,071.7 | $355.4 | 33.2% | $716.3 | 66.8% | 2016 |
__________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Dark Knight | WB | $1,003.0 | $533.3 | 53.2% | $469.7 | 46.8% | 2008 |
The Dark Knight Rises | WB | $1,084.9 | $448.1 | 41.3% | $636.8 | 58.7% | 2012 |
Man of Steel | WB | $668.0 | $291.0 | 43.6% | $377.0 | 56.4% | 2013 |
Going only by the numbers at this point what numbers should we expect for B v S? $1.3B?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | WB | $871.0 | $328.8 | 37.7% | $542.2 | 62.3% | 2016 |

Ima find out who and Fine Brothers the hell out of them
If it's anything like the first two It'll soley depend on the MCU Brand in which it will make good money, just not BVS money....despite it probably gonna end up being a better movie :p
