How long would Mace's strike team last if they were prepared for Sidious?

If the fight were to happen again, but this time the Jedi know how powerful Sidious is and know he plans to strike and thus have their guard up, how long would they have lasted?

Would Tiin, Kolar and Fisto lasted a few minutes? Or would they have still gone down instantly or within seconds?

Speed blitz. Same ending only marginally longer, say within 1 minute. Palpatine has been described as moving so fast that even Anakin saw him as a lightsaber blur. Palps rocks those Nike like only him and Yoda can in clone wars era Jedi/Sith.

They knew how powerful Sidious is. And Kit Fisto lasted much more than that in the novel, but Sidious defeated him.

They last maybe 10 seconds longer, there's a big difference between knowing and being able to do something about it. Unless they have time to lead all the Jedi into the assault it's going to end the same.

They would have died all the same. They had already suspected Palpatine was powerful given that Mace sought out 3 of the Council's most decorated Jedi to apprehend him. Sidious eclipses them all in power and skill sans Mace, so knowing this info wouldn't change that.

Lasted longer. One was eliminated by being caught off-guard, the other was blitzed in surprise, and Kit and Mace were also caught off-guard by his speed and power. They would have lasted 20-30 seconds more at most, but the end result would have been the same; it would have come down to Mace vs Sheev.

Windu could have won but for the Anakin angle. If there's none of that, he might pull it off. Everyone else still dies quickly.

If they had known, they will just let mace fight and will amp him by BM. Then with the help of mace they will kill Sheev. End of the story.

If Mace engages Palpatine immediately and keeps him busy I can easily see the other 3 outflanking him. I feel like Mace needed time to adapt to Palpatine's style before he could fight on even terms, which is why Sidious had the initial upper hand. In this scenario he should be able to immediately adapt and take advantage of his superior numbers.

They should have realized that the Sith Lord whose apprentice was Dooku would have been >> than Dooku himself. Also, didn't Palpatine use a dark side confusion haze anyways?

@amethystgravity: Yep, he did. Along with the haze thing, it's stated that Palpatine's innocent appearance also played a part, and that they were not expecting his power:

Macr’s skills with a saber were about as good as Sidious... not as good but enough. He he could somehow get Sidious in the same position he was in when Anakin showed up, one of the other Masters could have finished the Job.

The Jedi had just come to terms with the fact that Tyranus wasn't the prime Sith lord just before the fight. Sidious has likely been dreaming of this moment while Mace hasn't. Mace wasn't expecting the amount of power that Sidious immediately displays, which is why he appears to be extremely hesitant during the start of the duel. Mace isn't launching any type of committed offensive or counterattack because he's still probing Sidious' style but as the fight goes on, Mace becomes more confident in his own abilities.

Once Mace gains his confidence he shows Sidious what he can do and goes on the offensive, Sidious tries to recover lead by changing the flow with his acrobatics but only ends up being frustrated as Mace continues his offensive towards the balcony.

seeing that all 4 draw their lightsaber and stand in a straight row like idiot I think they could do way better if they bother stand in formation. Mace could've parried they initial assault Tiin Kolar and Kit can flank Pap. Tiin and Kolar would still die but I think that at that point Mace would adapt enough to keep up with Sidious allow Kit to support
