How effective is using Pym particles to shrink down strong opponents in a fight?

I remember reading some comics where Pym would retain his strength as a full sized human in some comics, but I've seen it been used offensively as well occassionally.

Would pym particles help? And if we shrunk down, say, the hulk, would it reduce the amount of destruction if he's on his rampages?

Idk about that , but Ant-Man could've jumped into Thanos' throat with Cap's shield and game over.
