The Tensei shinsei is one of the most powerful Jutsu used by characters below the Naruto God tiers, but despite this, I never actually knew: how big is it?

what is the calculated size of the Tensei Shinsei?

@valor_175: what about the fact that people who were several miles away, even in a different climate, could see it?

@valor_175: but in a different climate? That would mean they are arguably hundreds of miles away. Hell, even the headquarters saw it.

@valor_175: you couldn't see the people either.

Those things under it are those rock formations, which I think are at least 20 meters tall

Probably bigger than a mountain. You see that gif above? The shinobi army is not even visible compared to it. It totally makes those rock formations look insignificant. You can even compare it to the mountain in the background and it still looks bigger (about two times) though this could be perspective.

The first meteor was larger than an average mountain, that's for sure.

@valorknight: Onoki can lift Turtle Island with zero effort yet he couldn't lift a single meteor it should be above City level.

It's the size of a mountain, but the destruction it would cause would be multi mountain.

Easily Mountain+ in size as it could be seen from a completely different terrain and that the force of the 2 falling created an earthquake which could be felt from countries away.

But force easily multi-mountain to island level.
Ohnoki could lift the turtle island with 0 effort and fly with it while he couldn't stop this meteor even after making it as light as he can. He still needed gaara's help.

So, either it weighs way more heavier than the turtle island or it has way more force behind it that it can't be stopped by someone who can lift an island with 0 effort.

@ourmanuel: How is it inconsistent? I just checked out the 2 chapters and it's consistent, not a single panel showing it's smaller than what was initially shown.

What I find interesting is that the meteors weren't summoned or pulled from the earth. I guess you could argue moon chunks but then at what speed were they travelling? And if they weren't moon chunks that implies the asteroid belt ??

And a couple chapters later, we see madara’s PS almost twice as tall as it is.

Madara’s PS must be Everest sized gg

@ourmanuel: You are comparing the full meteorite before collision with the meteorite after it collided. Obviously it's smaller than it previously was because it's broken.

Doesn't change my argument, the tengai shinsei is consistent and trying to disprove it using the broken meteorite after it collided with the planet is stupid. Lol

@adi_frost:

the second meteor wasn’t broken at all. It had a crack in it but asides from that it was prefect.

just admit it was inconsistent.

Tho I believe that the original intent was for it to be mountain/mountain+ in size.

Sure I agree with that it was mountain/mountain+ in size.

But I think you should look at those panels again. It was broken and only a smaller meteorite was left. Including the second one. The first one was completely gone with only the lower part of the outer shell remaining.

Just admit that it was consistent.

It is indeed the size of a mountain.

These mountain, to be more precise.

Madara smashed it with a strike of his Perfect Susano'o, but we can still compare fairly the blast with the mountains behind.
