No offense, but I always take twitter messages from writers, editors and everyone else with a huge grain of salt. There is no such thing as definitive statements in comics and even less so when they come from twitter rather than actually from within a comic. Writers contradict themselves all the time and also have varying opinions on what characters are capable of.

At the end of the day it's the actual feats that matter.

Him saying that he thinks and "suspects" that Spectre "could" do it is a completely different story than Spectre actually doing it on-panel. Especially given the fact that Hal Spectre hasn't done anything remotely comparable to "omniversal". I'm afraid J.M. probably doesn't know what omniversal means either.

What's the context behind this? What spurred speculation that he may be omniversal in the first place?
