I know that some people like to dismiss Goku as being spider-man level in lifting strength due to him struggling with 10 ton weights on each limb in base during the Buu Saga but if you look at this closer, you'd realize how impressive this feat actually was.
Firstly, we need to account for how fast he's punching with these weights attached to him. It's commonly known that DBZ characters are casually faster than light but let's low-ball and say these were only LS punches.
Use this equation, input the proper information, and you'll end up with a whooping 122281000000 for how many lbs of force he'd need to punch like that with these weights attached to him. For reference, that's the equivalent of 61140500 US tons. This still is him when he was just using the 2 ton weights. For when he was using the 10 ton weights, we'd get 611406000000 for how many lbs of force he'd have to exert to punch them around like he did. For reference, that's the equivalent of 305703000 US tons. Add in the fact that King Kai's planet has 10x gravity and we'd see that Goku displayed a massive strength feat of 611,405,000 tons in just base form.
This is further backed up by his feat of pushing a mountain when he fought Kid Buu as that would require trillions of tons of force to do and he'd have that type of strength in SSJ. He also lifted the Z sword in base form casually which required, I believe, an SSJ2 Gohan to pick up? That's no small feat to accomplish either.
I hope you all enjoyed my tedtalk. 🙂
