I feel like doing more of these lesser known characters that no one knows real well, and think low of. This time it will be on my favorite characters, the Ghost Rider. There are 2 major Ghost Riders and some minor ones. It is important to know which is which to understand their power sets and abilities.

What is a Ghost Rider?
Ghost Rider use to be a Demon bound to Johnny Blaze Body. It was seen as a curse and tool for the devil in the 70s and 80s. Then a New GR in the form of Ketch was a Spirit of Vengeance called Nobel Kale who was bonded to Daniel Ketch, brother of Johnny. Then in the 2000s GR has turned out this whole time to be a Angel with God's Vestige of Power. A Angel of Vengeance and Wrath placed on earth to deal out God's punishment.
The Origins of the Spirit of Vengeance.
Who is God that created them.
You just cannot kill a Ghost Rider. They will always find a host.
Dr. Strange explains best the GR. The Human is a safety switch. Limiting the GR full power. However should that switch turn off, then a Spirit of vengeance brings the level of power of a Hell Lord like Mephisto into play.
These 2 GRs actually time travel to make sure the Futur they came from would not come to pass. In this case Zadkiel taking the throne of heaven and power over all creation. They even warn of the Secrete Invasion that has not happen yet lol.
GRs have also shown to travel to any Hell Realm and back to Earth.
The Ghost Rider Caleb has trouble taking down these Cowboys who are brought back from death by Satan with Demonic Powers. So Caleb BFRs via Hell Fire the Cowboys and what was left of the town into the Realm of the Ghost Riders.
Now that is covered lets get into specific GRs.
Johnny Blaze / Zarathos
The original and best GR of the 70s, 80s, and 2000s. Blaze is the most well known by a small margin with Ketch second. So lets see what we can learn about this Ghost Rider.

Lets look at his Abilities.
Hell Fire
Hell fire is GR bread and Butter. It can be made into various things, transmutate, as well Burn the Soul.
Hell Fire being used to Burn the Soul instead of the Flesh.
Hell Fire Balls. Very Accurate with too I might add.
Hell Fire Flame Throwers.
Scan 1, Scan 2-3, and Scan 4-5 are all Hell Fire Novas. The Radius is quite large.
Zarathos has also shown to make a Hell Fire Storm!
Zarathos also has a Hell Fire form of Telekinesis.
Scan 1: GR has also shown to Imbue other objects with Hell Fire.
Scan 2: GR can make solid Hell Fire objects as well. Even when he was at his weakest like in this scan.
Chains
The Chains of Ghost Rider are made of Hell Fire. They are Unbreakable by normal means and only broken with Magic or if GR is distracted. They are infinite in their making and can be made into spears, flechetes, and use to maneuver.
Scan 1: Rips a super human durable Lucifer Avatar in half.
Scan 2: Use to hold a Hell Lord in power Fallen Angel in place.
Scan 3: Drags Multi Ton Objects.
Scan 4: Uses them to latch onto the trees to counter attack.
Here he uses the chains to Incapacitate 2 Lucifer Avatars, each one possessing 1/3 of the Hell Lords total power.
Strength
GR Strength Varies from Human Control to Spirit of Vengeance (SoV) Control. As Human it is roughly 20-25 ton mark. As a SoV it is in the 200+ tons.
These are all Blaze.
Scan 1-2: Blaze Yanks apart the front part of a Airliner Jet.
Scan 3-5: Blaze Rips a Sky Scraper Down on Hulk.
Scan 6: Blaze yanks a Subway Car from the subway underneath.
Durability
This is the best part of GR. It is possible to KO a Human Control GR with Hulk level strength in one shot. However as a SoV, the only way to beat GR is powerful Magic or Heaven Forge Weapons. That is it. The reason for this is GR can reform with Hell Fire.
Scan 1: Blaze eats Nitro. No damage sustained.
Scan 2: Reforms Leg with ease once Zarathos takes over.
Scan 3: Reforms head with ease once Zarathos Takes over.
Scan 1-4: GR reforms after Dr. Strange's more powerful Magic Attack.
Scan 5-8: World War Hulk one Shots Blaze. Then Zarathos takes control and reforms.
It can be argued powerful reality Warpers can affect GR. However, Zadkiel with power over all God's Creation was unable to. In the GR, Son of Satan, and at times Tomb of Dracula comics the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian God is real and much responsible for the creation of Man and the Universe.
However this is all preference of the less popular Comics vs Popular Marvel ones that say otherwise.
I will show this battle soon to draw your own conclusions.
Skill
Blaze also has some Skill.
H2H against a superior foe like Fear Monger.
His Biker skill is unparalleled and the best Cyclist in the world.
Speed
GR speed is all on there rides.
Blaze and Ketch hit Hyper Sonic speeds in their race across Africa.
Dimension Travel!
All GRs have shown the ability to travel to Hell Realms and Earth. Blaze has done so twice.
1-2) Blaze soul is released from Hell. The Angel tells him to escape while he can, and Blaze Travels from where he was in Hell, to back on earth, cutting through KKK members.
3) Lucifer decides to let Blaze escape Hell to bring himself with Blaze to earth. Blaze travel out of hell and arrives above the earth. Clea also comments how he can Traverse Realms.
The Penance Stare
The GR most powerful move. Many people believe it is limited to the Guilty, this is False. It is limited to any Pain and Suffering one has cause whether for right reasons or not. If Superman punch a villain in the face to keep him from killing a child, he still caused pain to the villain. It will be payed back via Penance Stare. The PS also has a added ability of allowing GR to discover secretes in ones mind.
Scan 1-2: PS a Angel, which ends up killing it, and discovers the truth of the Ghost Rider origins.
Scan 3-4: PS Deadpool who is incapacitated by it for a short while till finally coming out of it. It clearly made him angry too.
Scan 5: Blackheart explains what the PS does, and on a being who gains power off of misery, and pain only makes Blackheart stronger.
Scan 6-8: PS a Fallen Angel to discover its true identity.
Scan 9: PS another Ghost Rider.
Scan 10: PS Dr. Strange.
The only time it has not work is if a) Your soul was protected by God's power or b) Have no soul. That is it. some times people bring up the Venom incident. The PS clearly worked there, just not to a high degree.
In this case the Penance Stare failed, because the Deacon here was empowered by Heavens own Zadkiel for Immunity.
Battles!
Now we get to the sweet stuff. The Battles. Starting of with Blaze.
70s Blaze took out Iron Man, Cap, Tigra, and even Humbled Thor.
Blaze vs Death Rider. Since GR is Immortal, Death itself decided to challenge Blaze to 3 Races for his life. Blaze agrees to save the innocents that Death put on the line. Blaze wins the first 1st, lost the 2nd, and then had to use his Cycle Skill with Cheating to cheat Death of a 3rd win.
Blaze finds himself against a powerful Psychic. So powerful that this Psychic Child can live forever, raise the dead, and transmute people. None of it works on Ghost Rider.
Blaze vs Savage Hulk. He wins through burning Hulk of Oxygen.
Blaze vs Hell Lord strength Kazaar, a fallen angel.
Blaze holds his own against Dr. Strange. However in the end it was Zarathos who totally rocked the Sorcerer Supreme's world.
Blaze vs Lufier Avatar. A weaker Avatar.
Blaze vs a more powerful Avatar. So powerful that Blaze has to let Zarathos fight from now on.
Blaze vs World War Hulk. In the end WWH smashed Blaze, but Zarathos Prove Hulk's best is nothing to him.
Blaze vs the Deacon. A Man empowered by Zadkiel with Heaven Weapons, Samson's Strength, and Immunity to the Penance Stare.
Blaze vs a cast down Angel of decent power.
Blaze vs Angels.
Blaze vs Ketch. The Epic GR vs GR struggle.
Now it is time for Zarathos battles.
This is Zarathos true form which cause Classic Dr. Strange, Ketch GR, and the rest of the Midnight Sons retreat from most of the battles.
Zarathos battle with Mephisto. Zarathos had to be depowered before Mephisto could take him. This later is Retcon with current Origins, however both Nightmare and Mephisto as well Centurious confirm this. So a clash in continuity I guess lol.
Zarathos vs Null the Living Darkness. This guy later becomes a Defender level threat and minor Abstract Being. Nothing Null could do could effect Zarathos including shrinking him.
Zarathos overpowers Hell Lord Azmodeus in his own Hell Realm.
Zarathos vs Lucifer avatar that possessed Jack O Lantern who died in Cilvil War. Jack never stood a chance.
This is Lucifer at full power.
Zarathos effortlessly pwns a Half Power Lucifer with no trouble.
Now a showing of the Brothers Ghost Rider vs Zadkiel. Some key thing first.... Zadkiel is the keeper of the Ghost Riders, a Arch angel, and tasked by God to oversee them on earth. Zadkiel plans to take the Throne for himself.
Zadkiel is no joke of a Arch Angel either and one of the stronger ones rivaling Lucifer, Kazaan, and Ruth.
He finds a plot whole and exploits it through Ketch gathering all the Spirits of Vengeance power and burn Heavens Gates down. After this Ketch, Blaze, and Vengeance are the only ones with Spirits left on earth, and are hunted down as they search for a way into Heaven. They team up with Son of Satan and a new Anti Christ called Kid Blackheart. Zadkiel meanwhile is getting the hang of his powers over all Creation.
Zadkiel power as God and gathering it fully over all Creation.
Finally the Brothers find their way to Zadkiel and battle.
Zadkiel cannot be beaten by them 2 alone, however with power over all Creation and his Reality Warping Powers was unable to do anything to the GRs. Then Blaze learns a new trick from Roxanne, Summoning the Spirits of Vengeance and overpower Zadkiel.
