Man only has 6 months to live. The impact he’s had in both Marvel and DC cannot be understated. Here’s hoping that his legacy and work will continue to be remembered.

He was the man who opened doors to the large scope of detail and dynamic comic book pages could achieve in those days.

I love Georges art. He’s had a huge impact on comics and has created some of the most iconic art in comics like with Infinity Gauntlet, Crisis In Infinite Earth just to name a few. I hope he tries his best to be positive and enjoy time with family.

Just seen this now. Heart breaking. I heard he is such a likeable guy too. Massive massive impact on the comic community. His Wonder Woman run was the first time I enjoyed reading Diana.

Bro no freaking way. He's my 2nd favorite comic artist. God bless him.

That's very saddening. He's a great artist. The level of detail he puts into his drawings is superhuman.

I refuse to believe this legend will die. I won't be able to look at his astounding 80's/90's art without being sad that a talented guy such as this could meet this fate so early.

If there was any comic artists I would take inspiration from, Perez would definitely be one of them.
