People have picked up on Ajax dodging bullets on his motorcycle and frame-by-frame bullet timing from characters like MCU Winter Soldier and CW Green Arrow, so I'm surprised that a feat from FOX Deadpool similar to the latter two haven't been picked up on.

Deadpool ducks a gun.
Deadpool ducks a gun.
We can see that the gun has fired because of the muzzle flash, Deadpool is in the line of fire and the bullet has not yet broken the car window.

The glass starts to smash and Deadpool is out the way.

I feel like if we accept frame-by-frame breakdowns to prove bullet timing, then this fit under that category. Thoughts?

He saw the gun and ducked. That isn't bullet timing.

In the first screenshot he's in the line of fire after the gun has already gone off. In the second he's out the way.

Agreed, there was also the times where he was fast enough, to shoot two people so It appeared he shoot them at the sametime when actually he didn't.

He begins ducking before the gun fires. The fact that he's just barely out of the way once the window shatters just means he narrowly dodged it. At the very best, it's aim dodging.

Because Deadpool being a bullet-timer was to be expected.

@jedixman: We can clearly see in the first screenshot that the muzzle has flashed and the window hasn't yet broken, with Deadpool still in the way. In the next frame he's out the way by the time the bullet has reached the window.

@alphaq: How?

@angeljax: Why is it to be expected? The only other version of Deadpool that has bullet-timed (To my knowledge) in the Origins version, set in the same universe.

I know, that's the point of this thread. To show he can dodge bullets.

Based on how the scenes played out, He Dodged that gunfire. There really isnt much else to speculate except for headcanon theories on time traveling frames.

The first thing we see is his eyes widen, he jumps, and then we see the guy begin to fire. Wade was in the process of dodging. If you begin moving before the gun fires, it looks like bullet dodging.

@jedixman: His eyes widen when he sees there's a gunman. He doesn't actually move until the gun has already fired though, as the screenshots show.

@lubub55: We see the gunman is righting his aim as he fires in the first gif, meaning that just seeing the flash through the window doesn't mean that he was actually aiming at Deadpool accurately. Basically, we're assuming the gunman was on target based on the first screenshot having a muzzle flash, but we don't know the bullets were going at Deadpool/the window.

Also, these types of frame by frame type analysis are pretty sketchy in general.

That goes for comics too, a lot of the time people jump to conclusions with bullet timing.

it's hard to accept he is a bullet timer .

since machine gun bullets travels at mach 2 the distance between them is around 5 m.

so time taken to react and duck down should be around 5/680 = 0.00735 sec.

so it should probably aim dodge or bullet timer to a slowest bullet.

I would say 'no', but that is more convincing then what people use to claim Arrow or Iron Fist are bullet timers (they are not).
