First Super Group?

What is the first super team to ever appear in a comic book? What is the first hero team to appear in a comic book? Villian team?

That's a good question...I guess It all depends on who came out first...I know that the JLA came before the FF and that means they came before the IJLA...so my best guess would be the JLA or the GL's...

Good question. I'm curious myself. Did the Challengers of the Unknown come before the JLA or after it?

Waaay off. The JSA was out in 1940, All-Winners Squad was Timely's answer in 1946.

I've laid out my reasoning as to why Superman is the first superhero before (he isn't the first comic book hero by a long way). Not sure about villain teams. Injustice Society makes sense, they first appeared in 47. I'm not aware of an earlier one (that doesn't mean there isn't one though).

The yellow kid....started out in a strip then made into a comic book. Popeye is older too 1929.
