First look at Tom Holland as Nathan Drake in upcoming Uncharted film

I still think Holland's a terrible choice to play Drake.

Video game movies dont do good for a reason, why not get like an older guy for it. Maybe john krasinski would be a better pick

Edit: I didnt know that this was a prequel story, still doesnt change the fact that this movie is a bad idea

Video game movies are usually poo-poo cocka, but he certainly looks the part for sure

I just want a crossover with the new Lara Croft, even though it's impossible

He looks decent here but I am still really not feeling this casting choice.

This is fun to think about though.

It's fine if he is playing a younger drake.

He has the facial features of a young Loki, not a young Nathan Drake

I've said since this was merely a rumor that Tom wasn't a good pick at all.

Too young. Too boyish.

John Krasinksi, Chis Evans, Zachary Levi, Scott Eastwood and Chris Pine would ALL have been better

But hey, at least they didn't change his overall look too much. Costume looks pretty much the same as from Uncharted 2 and 3.

@wolverinebatmanftw: eh, I’m not seeing them being better when the story of the film seems to particularly call for a Nathan drake that’s in his 20s (and from the sound of it, his early 20s)

Regardless, don’t really have a problem with Holland as Drake, there’s other things that gives this movie a red flag in my book

1) it’s a video game movie

2) the director

3) Mark Wahlberg as Sully

Wahlberg as Sully is genuinely awful casting. It makes Holland as Drake sound like Connery as Bond.

My choices for Sully would've been Liam Neeson, Bruce Campbell or Stephen Lang.

I don't even like Tom as an actor in general (he's still the worst Spider-Man of all time to me)

But this?.....oh lord. He still looks (and sounds) like a prepubescent teenager. So naw, not good casting.

I beg of you, don't get me started on his non existent top lip. (Or lips in general for that matter)
