First Black Superhero Couple?

Anyone know who it was?

As for married couple, was it T'Challa and Ororo?

Weren't Night Thrasher and Silhouette a couple? They were not married though. 
 
IIRC Black Lightning was married but it wasn't to a Superhero.

Storm and T'Challa are the first that comes to mind, although I'm not sure about the other Black Superhero couples.

Hasn't Luke Cage been married for longer? Or do you mean black/black couple?

luke cage don't count since its interracial. so it would have to be bp & storm.

I'm just surprised comics waited until 2006 to have a black couple get married.

Black Lighting's wife wasn't a superhero, but there were married when his book started in the 70's.

I think most black superheroes that are or have been married, married a white superhero or a black civilian.
