thats what i thought but the person that wrote this seems to think that after darkseid sent him thruogh time the corps that was left over was sent in a rocket some where.

I'm not too familiar with the New Gods stuff, I just recently (FC) learned about the omega sanction stuff. I should read up considering it is a JAck Kirby creation

The avatar concept came up in the early nineties, so anything before that is considered the real Darkseid. As for later, difficult to tell. There were several instances where he was explicitly stated to be an avatar, as for the rest we can only guess.
Presumably the actual Darkseid was in JLA: Rock of ages, given the overall storyline, and he was most certainly real in Countdown, since he died in there and all. Jeph Loeb in all his time never mentioned avatars, but he didn't really know a damn about Darkseid in the first place.
k. that makes sense then. Bc i know hte suit he was wearing was given back to dick and the others and his body is suposably in the grave. I still dont see how they can have a grave for bruce wayne with out Gotham noticing that their little rich boy was now dead,
