Marvel: Spiderman - So much childhood memory, I always liked the fact that he could shoot webs and the spider sense honestly really childhood memeory.
DC: Batman- Kinda obvis. The dude is cool and the fact his prep can beat the Justice League was lit. Plus his humn and his backstory was sad, he to most ppl could be somewhat relatable and his just a fun character overall.

Spider-man, but Karnak and any Ghost Rider are also close. Spider-man is a childhood hero, relatable, funny and his comics are fun to read (Not the Spencer run tho). His rogues gallery is unique (Mysterio, Green Goblin) despite they are mostly based on animals (Rhino, Doc Ock).
Some other contenders for Marvel are Daredevil and Moon Knight.
